Ivy Exec recently interviewed Tom Bernthal, CEO of Kelton. Kelton is the country’s fastest growing research, strategy and design consultancy, who works with many of the world’s largest and most recognizable brands to help them better understand and connect with consumers. Kelton provides highly customized qualitative, quantitative, innovation and design research for a wide variety of companies across multiple sectors.
Ivy Exec: In which area of your company do you expect the most growth over the next 12 to 18 months?
Tom Bernthal: Expanding our service offerings to go from consumer insights to design, innovation and execution of consumer-inspired ideas.
IE: What changes and challenges do you think your company and industry will see in the next 5 years?
Tom: We’ve grown very quickly over the last 5 and expect that to continue. Given our philosophy and culture, growth will mean evolution and change driven by the qualities and strengths of those who join.
IE: What attracted you to your company?
Tom: I saw an opportunity in the marketplace to develop a consumer insights and marketing strategy agency that understood that emotions drive decisions, and there’s as much art as science in meeting consumers needs.
IE: What three words best describe your culture?
