Ivy Exec recently interviewed Andy Nybo, Partner, Global Head of Research and Consulting at TABB Group.

TABB Group is a financial markets research and strategic advisory firm focused on capital markets. As Partner and Global Head of Research and Consulting, Andy helps oversee TABB Group’s efforts to focus its industry knowledge into practical application to provide clients with insight into the areas of equities, fixed income, derivatives and financial technology.

Ivy Exec: In which area of your company do you expect the most growth over the next 12 to 18 months?

AN: Financial services is an industry that is constantly addressing change, whether it be from new regulations or major market surprises, and we will continue to make strategic hires that allow us the best insight into these issues our clients face. We have recently made hires to bolster our derivatives, equities and fintech coverage and expect that these focus areas will continue to grow alongside our fixed income practice.

IE: What changes and challenges do you think your company and industry will see in the next 5 years?

AN: TABB is in a unique position as an independent voice in that the challenges that our industry is faced with are the same that often fuel our growth. As new regulations, technology developments, market structure changes, etc. continue to impact the capital markets, firms will also continue to look to TABB for guidance on how to best navigate their business. Through both the known and unexpected challenges, TABB will be providing quick and thoughtful, independent analysis for the market.
