Executive MBA programs are an easy way for established professionals to earn a graduate degree without having to quit their day jobs – but they can be structured in all different ways (check it out here). Some programs have you attend a week-long residency every few months, while others ask for three-day residencies. They can be great options – if you can get the time off work. If not, you will have to limit your Executive MBA program search to those that offer classes on the weekends.

For most of these convenient programs, you will attend bi-weekly classes on Fridays – usually starting in the afternoon or just after work – and all day on Saturday. This can be nice because you get to have a day of rest (or your schoolwork) before starting your work week. Plus, because you are going every other weekend, it can make it easier to maintain the connections you form at business school than if you only saw each other once a month or less frequently, as is the case in other program configurations.

Emory University, Goizueta Business School

Top student industries include healthcare, financial services, education, technology, and consulting. The Emory Goizueta Executive MBA is ranked number 24 in the world.

The University of California Irvine, Paul Merage School of Business

The Katz EMBA is ranked number 11 in the US Northeast and eighth within its region for prestige. Saint Mary’s University, Sobey School of Business
