Infrastructure has become an asset class in its own right in recent years, with investment flooding in both directly and through private equity funds.

Watch this webinar run by Denis Gromb, the Antin I.P. Chair Professor of Finance at HEC Paris and in which he explored:

• infrastructure assets
• private equity
• value creation
• valuation techniques

Professor Gromb will use Antin I.P., a private equity firm that targets brownfield infrastructure investments in Europe, as a case study. He will dedicate particular attention to its 2012 acquisition of over 2,000 cell towers from telecom giant Bouygues Telecom – an investment that was eventually abandoned in 2015.
