Great resources and a positive culture, good place to learn

Former Employee - Principal/VP/Director

The healthcare provider business is an afterthought for DRG since they focus on pharma. Talent is mediocre, pay is low, and the consulting business is very small and underresourced

Former Employee - Principal/VP/Director

Worker bees are friendly and helpful. Management is not transparent and sends mixed messages.

Strong in pharma, life sciences. Weak and not well-known in the healthcare provider market.

Employee - Associate Consultant

It's a relatively small consulting practice with gold-standard resources from the larger part of the company. We are able to build on these capabilities, while working in a collaborative, small-company environment.

People are willing to help out whenever you need an extra hand, and especially when you have a question. Everyone is generally nice and likes to connect in personal way.

The DRG brand is mostly known for the syndicated reports and life sciences market tools, but the DRG Consulting unit still seems to be in its infancy. There is still room to increase our presence in the industry, but we are improving our outlook day-by-day.

Employee - Senior Consultant

In order to be competitive, it will have to evolve slightly. However, the fundamental projects and client base is solid and will be able to sustain in the long run despite the dynamic market landscape.

We are increasingly leveraging diverse data sets and expertise available to us from across DRG to deliver unique, high-value solutions for clients. I would recommend this firm because of the vast number of opportunities to which that new hires are rapidly exposed. There is a steep learning curve as is common in this industry, but within a smaller firm such as this one, there are many chances for hands-on learning and apprenticeship which is another reason why this firm is great. At least speaking for the particular branch office at which I work, my managers are highly experienced and supportive and just very great people. There is never a feeling of being siloed. The Principals are very keen about cultivation of company culture and are successful in doing so. Lastly, the projects are very interesting. There is a broad scope of disease areas and key question types across which we work and so there is something new each time.

Employee - Associate Consultant

Fully committed - the senior leadership team work extremely hard to both win and to complete projects. Enthusiastic - each member of the team are truly passionate about what they do. They exude positive energy which motivates everyone.

Since I'm a relatively new hire and the company is undergoing some policy revision, I'm yet uncertain about the pay structure. I could share that I received a sign-on bonus in addition to the base salary.
