Former employee - Associate/Consultant

They are good for entry and advancement.

Former employee - Associate/Consultant

Junior, inefficient, profits oriented.

Former employee - Associate/Consultant

Decent market reputation.

employee

They need to bring back employee retirement plans. Less political interaction/influence/lobbies and end premature forced retirement to save corporate money at the expense of the employees.

Employee

Culture is like a mix of many smaller companies and larger companies always being bought out, retirement funds raided and then employees divested over time with little say in how corporate dictated things to be run as long as the bottom line cash flow made it up to the corporate level otherwise heads would roll time repeated scenarios all over the country within division after division of the defense giant Lockheed Martin.

employee

Corporate bottom line is their number one goal no matter how much they blow out customer satisfaction.

Former employee - Manager / Senior Manager

I wish there was better support for telecommuting, more inclusive culture, better diversity, and human resources that promotes employee well-being.

Former employee - Manager / Senior Manager

Culture is conservative, slow to accept change, wary of differences.

Former employee - Manager / Senior Manager

Reputation is better than the reality of working there

Former employee - Analyst / Associate

Wish there was better pay and better security for workers. The pay-scale was extremely unbalanced.

Former employee - Analyst / Associate

Has out-dated management practices inherited from GE (who had already abandoned the practices). Extreme age prejudice in evaluations for any position.

Former employee - Analyst / Associate

You will not be fairly assessed for you accomplishments nor your experience and education.

Former employee - Manager / Senior Manager

Would suggest no changes here. I really thought it was well managed

Former employee - Manager / Senior Manager

If given the chance to change anything, I would reduce all the red tape and processes so new ideas can flourish.

Former employee - Manager / Senior Manager

There are too many people stuck in their ways. They never push the envelope. Younger staff can never move up or be challenged because the old guard keeps them down.

Former employee - Manager / Senior Manager

If you are looking for someone to tell you what to do and stick to a daily routine, then this is the place. If you have an entrepreneurial spirit and think outside the box, they will squash it.

Former employee - Manager / Senior Manager

The company would benefit from increasing inclusion and diversity in its Electronic Systems division.

Former employee - Entry / Intern

It was a very cyclical business. While it may just be the nature of DOD contracts, there is still a lot that could be done to normalize the work load or leverage the talent in place to make similar products.

Former employee - Entry / Intern

Strong disconnect between union labor and professional team. I spent a majority of my time working with the team members to improve the processes and make their job easier, I had a very good working relationship but was still scrutinized when I would move a tiny bag of electrical connectors because it was taking up "union work". The result of that disconnect meant there were enormous inefficiencies in the process and if anything broke, everyone might as well go home because it wasn't going to be fixed today.

Former employee - Manager / Senior Manager

Wish there was a retirement plan for former employees.
