Working offsite under contract you are a non-entity.

Employee - Analyst / Associate

Make sure you have a go to person if you work at LM offsite

Employee - Manager / Senior Manager

Seasoned professionals with a track record of sussess are under-valued.

Employee - Manager / Senior Manager

Recently, there were dramatic organizational changes motivated by "hiding/protecting favored under-performers" at the expense of more qualified replacement candidate leadership members.

Employee - Manager / Senior Manager

Entry level candidates with advanced technical degrees will advance provided they're willing to work through the politics and align themselves with the proper mentors/favored leaders.

Employee - Manager / Senior Manager

The company was burdened by internal politics to the extent that there were many people (from my perspective), especially women of color with PhDs and ivy league educations, sitting without assignments.

Employee - Manager / Senior Manager

Internal politics were a primary driver of the company culture. My friends and I (women of color with advanced degrees and much experience) were "invited" to join the RFP process. After our contribution helped win the business, we were pushed aside and eliminated from actually doing the work.

Employee - Manager / Senior Manager

If you are a white man, you probably have a better shot at advancing.

Employee - Manager / Senior Manager

They need to change the effectiveness and consistency of those in leadership. Also, their performance rating process and the availability of training funds.

Employee - Manager / Senior Manager

It is a male dominated network.

Employee - Manager / Senior Manager

The customer is always right.

Employee - Analyst / Associate

Like other defense contractors, LM finds ways to get rid of their "older" employees. This is wrong. I got old, more knowledgeable and better at what I did. I did not however get slower or less healthier so though LMAO executives would think otherwise.

Employee - Analyst / Associate

They are so gung-ho to comply with government quotas that they have a bastardized affirmative action plan.

Employee - Analyst / Associate

Middle management is more worried about themselves than the people who work for them

Employee - Analyst / Associate

I felt that it was an atmosphere of "every man for himself." No longer do they care about people of all ages. They discriminate against the aging.

Employee - Analyst / Associate

This company used to respect people. But not so much any more

Employee - Analyst / Associate

Transparency is needed within the company.

Employee - Analyst / Associate

The culture I felt was do as your told or fear ramifications.

You must fit in to be acknowledged. Don't question authority. Be aware that if you are nearing the age of 55, you will be laid off and replaced by a millennial. This millennial will work for less money but also has no experience or analytical skills and will leave the company in less than 5 years!

Wish there was better pay and better security for workers. The pay-scale was extremely unbalanced.
