Employee - Analyst

Unfortuantley at UBS there is no integration of private bank or other business units. There is a revolving door of talent with spineless leadership for the quarterly numbers.

Employee - Analyst

The culture was horrible - No integration of business units

Employee - Vice President

ggrat place to work, great staff and leadership

Employee - Associate

The facade was that of a Swiss bank but the reality was that of the shop

Employee - Associate

Mobility model needs to adjusted.

Employee - Associate

UBS is a great place to network and gain significant broker/dealer knowledge to take elsewhere and earn higher wages.

Employee - Associate

The lack of promotions and low compensation made for a dismissal work environment.

Employee - Associate

UBS needs more open communication and collaboration

Employee - Associate

At UBS, be prepared to work hard and work independently.

Employee - Associate

Buttoned down work culture.

Employee - Associate

Less hierarchy, boost morale by doing company outings/events, promote from within

Employee - Associate

Compensation and benefits well below peers.

Employee - Associate

Management routinely overpromises and underdelivers, particularly on comp. The company seems to be in a never-ending cycle of cost cutting.

Employee - Associate

The senior managers still think of the bank in pre-financial crisis terms, expecting very long hours on understaffed teams despite the poor compensation.

Employee - Managing Director

UBS has a very poor culture and also a poor reputation in Nashville amongst recruiters. In addition, they have been in the news multiple times for unethical practices. They have also hired an artist to be their image consultant who is very public with her political views which I find appalling. I would not recommend anyone work for UBS or do business with UBS.

Employee - Managing Director

It was a very cut throat environment. Other team members are clearly out to make others look bad at every opportunity and they do so publicly.

Employee - Analyst

Working environment is something I would change at UBS

Employee - Managing Director

The culture and the lack of a business plan. The plan changes every week leading to constant uncertainty and inconsistency. It's tough to buy in when you don't know what you're buying in to.

Employee - Managing Director

Whatever management trend is on the way out of being in vogue, UBS is grabbing it with both arms.

Employee - Managing Director

A unique combination of constipated Swiss top leadership with management on the American side that embodied everything that went wrong at Merrill Lynch at the end.
