Job summary

The Red Hat Marketing team is looking for an Account Based Marketing Manager for the Insurance sector to join us in Frankfurt or Munich, Germany, Zurich, Switzerland, or London, U.K. In this role, you will work as part of our Account Based Marketing (ABM) and Vertical Marketing team for the Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region. You will focus on creating industry-specific content and delivering targeted initiatives to foster deeper relationships within a specific set of strategic accounts in the insurance sector by working in close alignment with sales and marketing teams. You'll play a critical role in our lead demand generation efforts by building and implementing inbound and outbound marketing campaigns through multiple marketing channels.

Primary job responsibilities

Understand the specific business imperatives of a cluster of insurance accounts; develop data and insight strategy to acquire new or additional information and discover the decision-making process and key personas within the organization

Develop and maintain comprehensive account profiles and target personas; oversee a database of named contacts to align marketing and sales in defining the target audience required to achieve account goals

Identify opportunities to improve marketing effectiveness through better audience segmentation, marketing techniques, and processes

Use industry, account, and individual buyer insights to build content assets that engage accounts that share common issues and enable sales

Manage and promote an editorial calendar of innovative content and marketing assets that align with the customer journey and sales buying stages; support the go-to-market plan for a cluster of ABM accounts

Analyze metrics and reports to define effectiveness of program activities and integrated content consumption

Collaborate with the ABM Program team to gain consensus for cross-portfolio go-to-market plans and marketing plays aligned with solution order and sales directives

Required skills

5+ years of named or account-based marketing experience in the high-tech and insurance industries

Experience building and implementing enterprise account and ABM programs; experience with insurance

Understanding of cloud and emerging technologies with the capability to integrate into programs that deliver on sales and product objectives

Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English and German

Solid writing and presentation skills to translate detailed content into impactful go-to-market materials including web, email, and social media content

Successful direct and digital marketing campaign and social media planning and implementation experience

Demonstrated ability to achieve practical results while working cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and product teams

Solid project management, planning, and organizational skills with attention to detail

Ability to take initiative and deliver projects with minimal direct supervision

Goal-oriented with the ability to work as part of a team and maintain focus on customers

Ability to keep an eye on details and follow through on complex projects

Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field is a plus
