The Account Director is the "visionary" and "driving force" for one of the largest CPG food category brands in the US. This role is the lead Account Service layer within ThePub’s Maker team and is the primary point of client contact to drive content creation and production from inception to final release with ThePub’s hybrid skilled Creative Makers and Producers. The Account Director is accountable for the successful completion of all work we do for this client, which is in the form of owned and paid social media content.


This Account Director will have a passion for our maker culture as related to client strategy and execution, and also for our Publicis Groupe Power of One delivery model, where multiple cross agency teams all work together for the seamless delivery to the client. 


 Primary Responsibilities:



  • Acts as the primary advisor to the client and agency partners for our content creation work.

  • Communicate and coordinate with IAT partners across Creative, Media and PR agencies

  • Communicates with the client regularly to set expectations, update deliverables and refine processes

  • Builds strong, trusting client relationships that go beyond social and build hunger for bold, untested ideas

  • Leads initiatives to solve client's business issues

  • Acts as liaison between client and studio to coordinate timely completion of jobs

  • Gathers all pertinent project specs and information from client

  • Formulates and manages the production process within the agreed timeline

  • Meets regularly with ThePub’s Production Managers and Creative Leads to align how jobs will be produced

  • Works effectively with ThePub’s Production Managers and Creative Leads to determine timelines, process and budgets

  • Identifies and promotes production efficiencies throughout projects 

  • Ensures quality of deliverables throughout the production process

  • Solicit the input of others and makes everyone feel like a key part of the team 

  • Creates a positive team culture, reconciles a variety of perspectives and brings them to collective agreement and action

  • Deals well with conflict, stands up for own viewpoints, actions or decisions, even in the face of strong disagreement, to skillfully overcome objections

  • Is concerned with the Studio's financial performance and profitability, and is alert to opportunities to grow the business


Qualifications


Position Requirements:



  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 8+ years experience working in an Advertising/ Marketing Agency environment, specific to Production, Account Service, Project Management workflows

  • Advance hands on knowledge of the Production and Postproduction for still and motion assets

  • Strong Client-facing experience

  • Experience working in complex environments / navigations multi-level partners

  • Committed to high-quality output and service, with an eye for detail

  • Resourceful / Solutions Oriented

  • Proactive

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask  

  • Good analytical and numerical skills

  • Strong Budget Management and forecasting experience

  • Able to handle challenging situations and act appropriately

  • Proven experience growing a book of assigned business
