Thought Machine is looking to hire its Asia Pacific Accounts Director. The Account Manager will work with our Key Accounts at all levels within their organization, and foster relationships across all functions, including executive team, program management, procurement and sourcing, legal and compliance. The Account Manager is responsible for overall client satisfaction, revenues and renewals.
Structured approach to client engagement through account plan aligned to Thought Machine and client strategic priorities, socialised with key stakeholders to gain buy-in, execute, monitor, adapt as required.
Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors and act as a central point of communications from the client to Thought Machine
To work closely with the wider Thought Machine functions to ensure high client satisfaction.
Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
Monitor and analyze customer's usage of our product, forecast and track key account metrics
Manage multiple clients and prioritise accordingly
Where a client has engaged the services or one or more delivery partners, the Account Manager will be required to also work with and perform similar functions with the banks delivery partner as they would with the client directly
Assist the client in the preparation of internal and external messaging, which would include but not limited to system demonstrations, presentations, workshops, business case construction.
Experience in relationship management in financial technology and/or consultancy.
Deep understanding of banks: their organisation, culture, markets etc.
Proven engagement and interaction with high level stakeholder in Banking Institutions - ExCo Level - stakeholders, business line owners, budget owners and approvers.
Proven experience in technology transformation projects in financial institutions and all of the aspects associated with such projects as Relationship/Account manager experience
Have basic understanding of the technologies Vault is built on and the concepts that underpin them to hold credible positions in front of the customer.
Should understand our market and our competitors and how the sales cycle works for our market.
Deep understanding of financial products of banks and what factors are important to a banks business e.g. cost income ratios, net interest Margin, etc
Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
Excellent negotiation, verbal and written communications skills.
Ability to work as a team player in a modern tech company culture and act as credible Customer advocate communicating upcoming needs that will create additional licence opportunities for Thought Machine.
Have the ability to clearly demonstrate competency such that the client would consider you, highly credible at any level within their organisation
