As the SR Voluntary Account Executive, you will provide strategic sales leadership to expand and maintain business relationships with all sized existing groups with a concentration within large complex national accounts. Further, you will be responsible for outlining growth orientated strategic planning that increases both membership and potential premium and presenting those ideas along with analysis of the customer’s current data set in a formal stewardship meeting setting to the customer’s top management executives. National account experience with book of business responsibilities above $25 million plus is a must. The position is a work from home role.• Prepares client for renewal by explaining cost drivers of benefit plan, offers solutions to reduce costs where needed, and delivers renewal to client and producer. Further, develops and executes a comprehensive strategic plan which results maximizes profitability by maintaining and expanding penetration of existing products. Continues actions to ensure new hire base has equal opportunity for education and product selection of those going through open enrolment. As needed, formulates complex financial decision recommendations and presents them to management.


• Delivers organized, polished presentations of solutions, via stewardship meetings, with benefits tied to the constituent’s business needs which correlate the competitive environment and drive a competitive advantage.


• Meets growth production, retention and profitability objectives for assigned book of business.


• Builds and maintains positive and productive relationships with plan sponsors, brokers, and third party vendors.


• Ability to engage senior levels within a customer organization and tailors message to effectively engage senior executives considering time constraints and overall level of needed information.


• Shares relevant internal data within and across business units of Voluntary to support the development of new processes and/or initiatives.


• Mentors and supports team members that are tied to assigned book of business and serves as a customer subject matter expert for resolution of complex issues requiring modifications to process, systems, or structure. Relays solutions found to team members if beneficial.


• Build relationships with key roles nationally within the CVS Health organization.


Pay Range


The typical pay range for this role is:

Minimum: 60,400

Maximum: 124,100


Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.


Required Qualifications


• Must have active health license or be able to obtain one within 45 days of hire.


• Must have 8+ years of selling or account management experience with large complex clients in the health insurance industry.


• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
