SiriusXM is seeking a self-motivated, passionate and agile Associate Director to help support and execute the marketing efforts for Email and Digital, as part of the channel marketing group. The Associate Director will be responsible for supporting acquisition and conversion teams with meeting their sales goals in the email and digital channels.
Primary responsibilities will focus on helping the different teams with strategic guidance by providing best practices + channel standards to inform marketing strategies that will improve email and digital metrics. The individual will oversee direct reports and support them with project management and coordination of all tactical activities throughout a project lifecycle.
The role will also be accountable for monitoring the health of the email and digital channels. This person will have a proven history of data-driven decision making and a deep understanding of Email and website analytics. They will be adept at analyzing performance reports and communicating any immediate optimizations and improvements geared towards email and digital success.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Demonstrated success in an email and digital marketing role (+8 years)
Provide day-to-day strategic support and best practices for various acquisition and conversion marketing campaigns across the email and digital channels
Partner with internal team members in a consultative manner to provide guidance and recommendations for their programs.
Lead direct reports and help them oversee the project management, coordination and deployment of all email and digital activities throughout their project lifecycles
Facilitate and optimize email creative designs and messaging based on data driven best practices and channel insights
Serve as liaison between cross-functional teams (i.e. Creative Services, Brand, Legal, Digital Experience, campaign operations, Programming & Analytics) to support campaign development and execution
Review and monitor weekly & monthly email and throughput performance reports to identify improvement opportunities as well as any potential issues (including root cause analysis)
Regularly identify trends and marketing strategies from other leading brands to glean insights on best practices and new innovative ideas for email and digital marketing tactics, including audits of how we can acquire, nurture and retain these customers
Optimize the online sales funnel in partnership with the Digital Experience team
Execute and support digital initiatives to drive more online sales
Develop project charters and business requirements for digital experience team to execute and launch landing page salesflows
Commitment to “internal client” and customer service principles
Assist in preparing presentations for leadership and partner business units.

Bachelor's degree with focus on marketing or related field, or equivalent, relevant experience; MBA preferred.
8+ years of marketing experience in the digital and email channel.
Open to previous experience working at a Marketing/Advertising agency in account management role
Strong ability to execute business initiatives & projects on a timely basis with an eye towards quality and accuracy.

Thorough and rigorous approach of QA applied to tests and launches of digital assets, emails, online media and customer experience.
