The Associate Director Human Resources provides strategic Human Resources support and solutions to various corporate business client groups to support the company's business need to drive cultural change, define organizational needs, facilitatetraining and development needs, and support Talent Management. The role requires the ability to forge strong business relationships with leadership at various levels and in various business functions in a corporate, commercial, operational or manufacturing setting. The position will provide strategic counsel and support in the areas of employee relations, compensation analysis, workforce planning, and training support of overall strategic goals and objectives of the business.
Consults with business line and/or functional leaders to provide a solid human resource plan and provides analysis and recommendations in such areas as talent acquisition, organizational assessment, workforce planning, performance management, succession planning, organizational structure, change management and communications.
Plans, develops, implements, and administers HR processes, policies, and programs that increase the productivity, competence, and effectiveness of organizations.
Counsels and/or coaches employees and managers regarding employee relations issues including performance management, facilitationof formal/informal complaints to resolution, discipline and/or terminations in line with local culture and the business and legal environment.
Ensures effective talent management including recruitment, assessment and development as the organization grows organically and through acquisition; assists managers in assessing and identifying resources to meet employee/departmental training needs and encouragement of employees to continuously develop their skills in their field of work. Partner with Talent Acquisition to provide guidance and influence key staffing decisions.
In conjunction with Compensation, performs compensation analysis and recommendations as necessary for offers, promotions, adjustments and articulates need for potential leveling. Drives the annual performance management and merit review process and ensures clients adhere to current compensation policies and processes.
Counsels with and supports client organizations on all potential merger & acquisition activity including HR guidance for integration efforts as well as supporting the business through major organizational and cultural change.
Partners with other HR functional areas and organization departments and divisions on projects and initiatives that enhance the employee experience and, increase operational efficiencies and provide value.
Recommends, develops, coordinates and delivers educational, informational or training programs as required
Bachelors Degree (BA/BS) Experience with Process Improvement approaches preferred (Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Practical Process Improvement, etc.) - Required
Master Degree (MBA) M.B.A. or Masters in HR is preferred - Preferred
10 years or more in 10 + years of Human Resources Business Partner or strategic HR generalist experience
in Preferably pharmaceutical or life sciences experience.
2 years or more in Experience providing HR Business Partner/ HR Generalist support in a complex matrixed environment. Specific business support of corporate (Finance, Information Technology, Legal & Business Development) business units. Knowledge of manufacting, operations, research & development or commercial business units. 2-3 or more years of project management and people management experience
3 years or more in Project management experience
in Demonstrated success translating business strategies into organizational and HR strategies & actions.
in Demonstrated success leading HR and cross-functional teams.
in Experience leading complex change management and working across a complex organizational matrix.
in A track record of positive results and an ability to show how his/her programs and policies have contributed to the growth and bottom line profitability of an organization while enhancing or driving cultural change.
in M&A experience. Due Diligence to Integration
in Experience with Process Improvement approaches preferred (Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Practical Process Improvement, etc.)
Possess advanced computer skills in ( Microsoft Office) word & excel and email. - Advanced
