The Audience Architect will be part of the Technology Platform team and will be the subject matter expert on data sources and management for our clients. The Architect will partner with them to understand their digital audience strategy.


The Technology Platform team uses its expertise to guiding analytics supported marketing decisions. We engage with clients to collect, measure, and refine their data and data-management practices to optimize the digital customer experience.


Responsibilities


 Solution Architecture:


 ·     You will lead requirements gathering meetings to translate business requirements into technical specifications


·     Perform audits and evaluations of analytics deployments


·     Design measurement solutions for Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Data Management Platforms and Customer Data Platforms


·     Clearly communicate requirements to development teams and lead deployments of measurement solutions


Client Service & Portfolio Enablement:


 ·     Demonstrate dedication to Merkle’s philosophy of client service


·     Lead client questions and requests, solving technical problems and providing mentorship involving technical and business knowledge


·     Work closely with engagement leadership to develop and grow engagements


·     Facilitate dialogue between client and 3rd party vendor contacts


Practice Support & Development:


·     Drive thought leadership on how we deliver premier solution services


·     Author process documentation and add to internal knowledge base


·     Cross-train colleagues on instrumentation methodologies


·     You will explore and evaluate new tools as they relate to web analytics, data management, optimization, tag management, and reporting platforms


Qualifications:


·     3-5 years of relevant work experience


·     Subject Matter Expert on customer data sources and channels


·     Experience with Adobe Experience Cloud and/or Google Analytics


·     Experience with web analytics or web optimization technologies


·     Experience with Tag Management platforms (Ensighten, Tealium, or other)


·     Experience with Data Management and Customer Data Platforms (Lytics, Tealium, etc.)


·     Expert level knowledge of web user experience methodologies and web technologies


·     Knowledge of tools for browser data collection such as JavaScript


·     Some SQL experience is a plus


·     Attention to detail, results oriented, customer focus, strong teammate, personal leadership


·     You can deal with ambiguity, strong analytics and analytical skills, exercise sound business judgment


·     Real passion for process improvement


·     Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to translate data into significant information in a concise and effective manner
