Contribute to the delivery of the Regional and Country Internal Audit plan through the timely completion of assigned audits within and outside the country supporting a dynamic region comprised of the fastest growing businesses and countries within the SCB footprint.
Cultivate trust and respect with other professionals and stakeholders throughout the business including external stakeholders and regulators.
Contribute to the Risk Assessment, Audit Plan and Continuous Monitoring processes by applying relevant business insights along with key and emerging risk trends.
Encourage the business to understand and embrace internal audit’s consultative role.
Cultivate stronger teamwork via diversity.
Provide inputs in the enhancement of the audit methodology.
Assist in tracking audit issue resolution.
Participate in ad hoc audits/assignments/ special projects within GIA/ Bank including attendance to regular stakeholder meetings.
Demonstrate strong leadership and effectively drive team engagement.

Working experience and knowledge in Credit, Financial Crime Compliance, Information and Cybersecurity and Information Technology.
Minimum 7 years working experience in financial services internal/external audit or risk function with proven track record.
Working experience and knowledge of risk- based audit approaches, methodology and software.
Sound understanding of core regulatory/best practice control models.
Candidates with the following professional qualifications preferred: Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (IIA), Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (ACAMS) and Certified Information Systems Auditor.
Able to commit to up to a maximum of 40% travel to ASEAN and South Asian countries – the fastest growing region within the SCB footprint.
