Northrop Grumman Technology Services is seeking a Budget & Materials Analyst 3 to assist with business activities associated with the Restricted Programs Operating Unit. This position will be located in Palmdale, CA.
This position reports to the Business Manager and partners with the Program Management team to establish strategy; prioritize requirements and achieve financial goals while ensuring the integrity of business processes.

Compiles and reviews material budgets for corporate or organizational units using proposal forecasts, actual performance, previous budget figures, estimated revenue, expense reports, and other data sources to control funds and provide for proper financial administration
Prepares financial plans, prepares regular and special-purpose reports, maintains historical records, analyzes trends, establishes cost rates and material forecasts, prepares comparative evaluation of actual costs against budgeted funds, and determines rationale for variances between costs and budget
Interfaces with Program Management team and Global Supply Chain (GSC) to ensure material requests are submitted, processed, and fulfilled in a timely manner
Supports medium to large programs with limited supervision
Bachelor’s degree in Business or related discipline and 6 years of experience or a Master's degree and 4 years of experience or 4 additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
Strong MS Excel skills
U.S. Citizenship required
Active Secret Clearance within the past 5 years or refreshed within the last 5 years
Position is contingent upon being able to obtain special program clearance within 12 months of hire
Previous material management experience.
Working knowledge of EVMS.
Experience with Maximo, SAP.
