The Vice President of Business Intelligence is responsible for providing ongoing, repeatable analytical support and insightful holistic performance data for Elavon.

Responsibilities:

Collaborating with senior business partners in all areas of the Sales, Strategy, Finance, Operations, Marketing and Customer Account Management organizations to understand business needs, gather requirements, and develop an agile project plan to develop a solution.

Crafting and constructing visually engaging, creative and easy-to-use data delivery solutions including dashboards, scorecards, infographics, and reports that enable users to be more productive and better informed.

Leading the implementation, administration and ongoing support of business intelligence reporting solutions.

Define strategies for BI/Analytics to achieve transformative state for advanced analytics including data architecture, data platform, front-end tools, visualization, and analytics areas

Improving the efficiency, accuracy, and functionality of the data delivery process providing users with quick and easy access to detailed and summary information.

Acquiring, transforming, cleansing and interpreting data from disparate sources to build multi-dimensional data models enabling users to easily slice and dice information to manually explore data and gain insight.

Supporting sales compensation operations by running sales compensation system configuration and administration, loading and processing data, providing support to sales compensation analysts and BU-finance partners, fixing and extending system functionality, and assisting with migrations.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

- 10 or more years of operations experience in the financial services industry

Preferred Skills/Experience 

Experience leading all aspects of the report development process including establishing scope, identifying and prioritizing requirements, UX/UI design, prototyping, solution development, documentation, deployment, support, and improvements

8+ years of overall management experience in Business or IT industry.

5+ years leading teams in business intelligence, analytics, or data science areas.

3+ years of experience, hands-on, with thorough knowledge of scripting, data source integration and advanced GUI development in Tableau.

Strong knowledge on Tableau server architecture and applying business rules and data validation

Experience with Programming languages like R, Python, JavaScript, other required

Familiarity with Salesforce (Sales/Service Marketing), Alteryx and Web Focus

Experience with service-oriented, large-scale projects and analyses.
