The Finance Business manager will be responsible for the Financial planning & Analysis for operations in Australia.
In this role, you willalso be supporting the sales initiatives and other growth opportunities from a finance perspective while maintaining accuracy P&L forecasting and balance sheet controls.
Reporting to Global Finance Director & leading a team of shared service staff, your major responsibilities are; but not limited to:
Supervise, guide and lead the indirect support staff out of the SSC across multiple finance functions
Development of bottoms up business plans, profit plan, forecasts, and monthly outlooks
Provide and coordinate all requirements for forecasting requirements across the P&Ls and related PBUs supporting Global Products – Fire Detection and other GP units
Develop & implement processes & models for improving accuracy, timeliness & predictability of financial results. Enhance processes and procedures to allow continuous improvement and adopting to technology tools that enable digital transformation
Partners with the finance leadership and business to create short, mid and long term actions to improve efficiency and profitability of core activities and commitment expectations clearly through roadmaps and opportunity / risk tracking
Implement and monitor contingency action & cost reduction program to raise quality of earnings & meet or exceed AOP financial targets
Maintain and enhance free cash flow metrics through management of TWC and re-investment ratios. Strong leadership and proven capabilities to drive efficiencyregarding DSO, inventory days and other related cash metrics utilizing best practices and technology to drive efficiency.
Develop decision support & analytical models for evaluating market trends & business impact.
Experience and knowledge strength surrounding 404 control requirements and knowledge of COSO framework and related policies and procedures as a core fundamental
Leadership capabilities that will inspire and drive cross functional team results and colloborarion
Bachelors of Accountancy, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
8 years and above working experience
Experienced in managing a team, leading change and business financial skills
Good communication, analytical, organising & relationship management skills
Must be a proactive team player
Strong knowledge in the relevant business operation & industry
Experience in Pronto ERP (preferred), HFM required
