Reporting into the Board of Directors, the CEO will guide and execute on the company’s vision by providing the strategy, leadership and accountability to drive significant growth.The CEO will have accountability for the full breath of the organization and will further develop and lead the team to enable and ensure continued growth. They will have the responsibility to structure and scale the organization to best position it for success.
Strategic Vision and Leadership
Provide leadership for the development and execution of a shared purpose and long-range strategic plan focused on identifying market opportunities, multi-channel business plans and operational excellence while leveraging the Company’s unique brand proposition and mission within the healthy snacks category.
Own and drive the P&L/ business model evaluation and evolution, which includes delivery of short- and medium-term objectives, operating as a collaborative and engaged leader with the employees and Board of Directors.
Align the organization vision and resources to corporate strategy, driving progress and making adjustments as necessary.
Partner with Founder/Chief Visionary Officer on product innovation and execution, while adhering to the mission and purpose of the organization.
Organizational Development and Talent
Continuously evolve the organizational structure to align with strategic priorities while building and mentoring an outstanding leadership team to achieve desired results.
Role model approachable, authentic leadership that creates trust, encourages listening and ensures many voices are reflected in the company’s priorities and decisions.
Bolster the Company’s culture internally and externally by fostering an environment where authentic connection is encouraged, diverse identities and lived experiences are uplifted and employees are encouraged to play an active role in contributing to the Company’s community.
Financial and Operational Results
Develop and execute a roadmap to get the company on track to reach $100M+ through excellent P&L leadership, customer focus, and a deep pride in the company’s mission and purpose.
Create a high-performance environment with a high sense of urgency, action orientation and accountability around measurable results.
Create, monitor, and drive operating metrics and financial performance to consistently achieve the appropriate measures.
Ensure effective allocation of resources across all areas of the company to accomplish financial priorities.
15+ years experience leading sizable organizations during a high growth phase, delivering full P&L results in a mission-centric organization.Ideal candidate will have large food/bev CPG experience, along with experience leading a smaller, high-growth company.
Experience working alongside a passionate and engaged Founder is strongly preferred
Strong track record of success in building, developing and leading cross-functional teams across all facets of the organization (sales, operations, marketing, finance, etc).
Success in implementing and sustaining operational excellence.
Outstanding leadership skills in inspiring, empowering, and developing staff and partners to achieve strategic organizational goals while fostering a respectful, accountable, and productive organization.
Strategic mindset with strong analytical ability and a big picture perspective.
Strong financial acumen and ability to quickly understand what drives the economic engine of the company.
Ability to establish rapport, influence and relate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization and with the Board of Directors and any external partners.
The Company is based in Boulder, Colorado and the CEO must be willing to relocate to the area.
