The Colorado platform Chief CRNA will work one (1) day per week in the central business office (CBO) in addition to clinical work required. This role will help develop and interpret organizational policies, budgets, communication, consulting and quality metrics. This position is responsible for building and maintaining professional relationships with, Care Team, executive staff, platform physician and MSO leadership, continuous quality improvement (CQI) committee, etc.
Liaison between physician partners and Care Team; Strong business acumen
Direct reporting to CGB representative.
Scheduling Oversight with CRNA leaders and MSO
Consistent communication to care team on all USAP objectives.
Provide guidance on care team issues and problem solve as appropriate.
Build effective leaders and high functioning teams
Partner with clinical leaders to hold quarterly roundtables to solicit feedback from employees
Spearhead recruiting and retention efforts.
Participates in corporate initiatives as platform representative
Participates in cross teams to maximize placement, etc.
Holds current state licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Colorado, and complies with any applicable state statutory or regulatory requirements concerning the advanced practice of nursing.
Graduate of a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA) Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs or its predecessor.
State of Colorado Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) Certification.
Complies with one of the following requirements:
a.Meets criteria 1 and 2 above, and is awaiting initial certification (some states limit this period of time); or
b.Is currently certified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists or its predecessor; or
c.Is currently recertified by the AANA Council on Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists. 5. Insurable by an appropriate medical malpractice insurer for the limits required by this institution. 6. Demonstrates current competency in those clinical responsibilities for which the candidate applies.
