The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in IT management and process knowledge of System Development Life Cycles.
Chief Architect is responsible for the systems engineering and architecture for this entire effort.
Design and oversee implementation of end-to-end integrated systems.
Deliver architectural initiatives that drive and improve efficiency in line with business strategy.
Maintain in-depth knowledge of the organization's technologies and architectures.
Develop and maintain current and planned state architectural blueprints.
Develop and maintain an aspirational architectural road map for the enterprise.
Communicate architectural decisions, plans, goals, and strategies.
Gain organizational commitment for enterprise level architecture and infrastructure initiatives.
Provide architectural direction to Enterprise Architects, Business Architects, and Solution Architects.
Develop architectural metrics and reports for the executive team, business and IT management and SAFe team.
Active in scope Secret Clearance
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
Minimum 10 years of relevant technical experience
IBM architectural experience to include DB2, MQ, , WebSphere etc.
Experience in vetting systems similar to Secure Flight.
A high level of experience with the following products is required: Java/J2EE, PL.SQL, AIX, RedHat Linux, IBM WebSphere Application server, IBM Liberty, IBM DB2, IBM Data Power, IBM WebSphere MQ, Oracle, Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE), Infoglide Bladeworks SSE, Informatica v*, Genkins, Chef, Gitlab
Experience with automated configuration management/code management systems
Strong program and project management skills
Experience with Infrastructure As Code
Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery
Experience with SAFe Agile Programs
Strong knowledge of name matching technologies
Excellent presentation and communication skills, System level troubleshooting.
Enterprise Architect certification desired.
Fluency in a foreign language is desirable, but not required.
