The Chief Communications Officer will be responsible for global communications, advancing ErosSTX’s corporate positioning with the press. They will be helping to shape our story as a global innovator in the development, financing, production, marketing and distribution of a full range of both traditional and non-traditional content, including film, scripted and non-scripted television, VR, short-form, digital videos, and music. In addition to managing external messaging, this person will also work with senior leadership and a variety of global stakeholders to shape internal messaging and ensure our people are informed, included and inspired. This role will report to the Co-Presidents of ErosSTX. 

Responsibilities:

Manage and help establish the company’s global brand and reputation, internally and externally

Drive corporate strategy and message development, pitch and announcement strategies

Develop corporate branding initiatives, internal communications and external media relations

Determine communications strategy and execute programs to deliver communications objectives throughout the organization

Develop communication strategies for delivery of corporate culture and business strategy

Partner with Marketing groups on company website, company reels, and social handles to ensure consistent and relevant messaging and communication

Manage, nurture, and improve press relationships and maximize media opportunities as point of contact for press inquires

Identify and spotlight people/initiatives for industry awards, recognition and events

Manage all crisis communications efforts

Work closely and partner with different business units and management teams, which include C-Suite, International teams, and Board members.

Qualifications

Qualifications – Required:

Seven (7) or more years of increasing higher level leadership experiences in the field of global communication in the public or private sector required

Experience working with a global company that has a domestic and international presence

Experience working with senior management across different locations in an organizational structure

Outstanding oral and written communication skills

Outstanding organizational, human relations and technical skills

Extensive knowledge of and experience with online, digital and non-print media

Ability to work as a member of a team; maintaining sensitive and confidential communications

Proven skills in public relations program management, research, planning, communication, marketing and evaluation

Domestic and International travel may be required

Qualifications – Preferred:

Public company experience preferred

Master’s Degree preferred in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or related field
