Leadership Ensures that effective processes are in place to select, develop and retain hardworking employees at all levels of the organization. Plans, controls, organizes, and directs the Equipment Breakdown Engineering organization with accountability for attaining objectives related to, production, quality, customer satisfaction and compliance with jurisdictional laws.
Technical Expertise Responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of equipment breakdown engineering policies, procedures, and standards.
Process Excellence Drives the development, implementation and maintenance of effective technology used by field engineers to collect, organize, analyze and report information to, underwriters, brokers, jurisdictions and/or customers.
Compliance with Jurisdictions Ensure files meet regulatory requirements and internal documentation standards. Coaches underwriters to articulate thought process, decision-making within both account reviews and file documentation.
Extensive knowledge of equipment breakdown engineering and industry trends.
Skills include confirmed ability to build a strong management team, plan and organize work through that team, develop strong relationships.
Build alignment within the organization, continually lead and improve process and the ability to adapt to new situations is needed.
Advanced degree or equivalent training & engineering certifications required,
10+ of related experience.
Prior management capacity necessary.
