Key Responsibilities

Serve as a strategic business partner with the senior management team to shape the business plan, the operational structure of the business, and the development of a world-class financial management function

Impact the financial results of the business in a meaningful way by assisting the Company in making effective decisions based on improved transparency, shortening cycle time through process improvement and determination, and identifying ways to improve how the Company manages cash flow, finances its operations, allocates capital, and manages its financial resources

Direct and manage all aspects of the traditional accounting and financial management functions and practices while ensuring the timeliness and accuracy of the Company’s financial results and reporting including appropriate internal controls, accounting policy, and financial reporting activities

Identify the key financial levers and key performance indicators to establish and lead a metrics-driven financial Organizationel to most effectively measure results and support decision making. Importantly, the CFO will lead robust financial planning and analysis activity, to include the monthly and annual planning and forecasting process, while working collaboratively with the corporate management team.

Manage the capital structure of the Company and play a key role in raising additional investment capital and debt financing. In addition to overseeing banking relationships, the CFO will work closely with current and future investors as well as members of the Board

Build and lead a high-performance team while attracting, developing, and retaining top-tier talent with a service mentality, creating the appropriate organizational structure and team-based environment, and continuing to improve services performed and the quality of the team and processes

The successful candidate will be a collaborative team builder with a strong team orientation and the desire to develop, train and mentor others. The CFO will not only lead and project as a team player, but his or her actions will reflect the mindset and style to put the success of the team first

Strong communication and interpersonal skills are an absolute must to provide the strategic and visionary leadership the Company seeks. The ability to clearly articulate goals and objectives and effectively engage with a wide variety of constituents at all levels is required

The ideal candidate with have an innate service mentality and embody the servant leader Organizationel

Importantly, the new CFO must be driven to succeed, entrepreneurial, and passionate about the value we bring in order to play a key role in building and growing the business

Experience and Education

Previous experience in a high-growth, entrepreneurial business and a combination of large and start-up company experience would be ideal to provide exposure to best practices in a well-regarded and established company and direct experience in a more hands-on environment

Demonstrable metrics-driven financial planning and analysis skills and a successful track record of driving the development of KPIs and a process which meaningfully impacted the results and direction of a business

Direct experience in raising equity and debt financing and skill in managing banking and investor relations while demonstrating the ability to establish a highly effective and efficient capital structure and the necessary funding to support continued growth

Proven team building skills and a track record of developing high performing teams and talent are also required to continue to raise the quality of the financial activities in the Company and allow the Company to attract top talent to scale the business

Experience and skill in working with private equity investors and previous experience in a public company or in helping to lead an IPO process would be extremely helpful

A strong and well-rounded technical foundation is required and an outstanding educational background to include undergraduate and graduate level degrees from well-regarded programs is highly preferred
