The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for AEG Facilities is responsible for the financial oversight of the organization. This role performs effective risk management and plans the organization’s financial strategy. The CFO is responsible for protecting the company’s revenues and profits to achieve full financial control and sustainable growth.

Essential Functions

Develop, implement, and administer financial and accounting policies, procedures and systems, including the development of the annual budget process and variance reporting. Oversees the preparation of various internal, external and regulatory financial reports.

Engages with and counsels the senior management team on periodic financial results, highlighting variances to budget and peers, and fosters dialogue, both strategic and tactical, that results in recommendations to exploit opportunities and mitigate shorOrganizationlls

Performs financial and strategic analysis of business initiatives to ensure efficient use of the organization's resources

Responsible for delivering a final annual budget that reflects both operational and strategic planning goals. Develops periodic financial forecasts to reassess the expected performance against established goals working with senior management team for key inputs

Develops tools and systems to provide critical financial and operational information to the senior management team and makes actionable recommendations on both strategy and operations

Monitors and ensures compliance with all federal and state regulations and company policies. Reviews or creates policies as necessary to further company objectives and, if applicable, mitigate unnecessary risks

Recruits, develops, coaches and mentors a high-performing finance, accounting, and tax teams to achieve maximum efficiency, accuracy, effectiveness and value-added analysis

Required Qualifications

A minimum education level of BA/BS Degree (4-year) (Advanced Degree Preferred) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA

A minimum of 15 years of related work experience, including 5 years in a senior leadership role

Must be well-versed in all aspects of accounting and financial management

In depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices

Strong and in-depth M&A experience

Large and highly matrixed global company experience

Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods

Proficient in the use of MS Office applications and financial management software

Results oriented with ability to think strategically to solve complex issue

Strong leadership, organizational, and people development skills

Excellent communication and people skills

An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers

Experience working with arenas and stadiums is preferred

Entrepreneurial Spirit

Ability to travel internationality
