Responsibilities include: 

Consultant and Contract Management 

Supervise consultants who provide government relations, facilities management, PR and marketing.

Coordinate an elected official engagement plan with the government relations consultant

On an interim basis, work in tandem with the Chief Financial Officer and Director of Development to manage government contracts, reporting, and support related functions as required

Support in grant writing and reporting in association with strategic initiatives, working with Director of Development and Director of Strategy

Strategic Initiatives Management 

Project manage the Girls Club’s major strategic initiatives in partnership with Director of Strategy, including:

Center for Wellbeing and Happiness: Act as interim director to support the implementation of the capital campaign to build the Center, oversee the build out of virtual and in-person programming, including coordination of community outreach and and partnership objectives 

New Girl City: project manage administration and relationship/partnership cultivation to create new, engaging content and events

25th Anniversary: support Director of Strategy and Development team inthe roll out of new a brand 

As needed, support coordination for special events, in partnership with operations, program, communications, and programs, media departments

Operations Management 

Supervise the Human Resources Manager, Facilities Manager, and Culinary Director and provide direct support in: 

The creation of new HR functions such as job description development, performance evaluations, and merit-based pay increases

Ensure facilities are effectively maintained, meeting COVID-19 Safety and Health guidelines

Ensure our culinary operations effectively addresses community needs, meeting all state and local compliance requirements 

Board Relations 

Prepare the Co-Executive Directors for Board Meetings, including writing memos, creating presentations, and drafting documents for board review

Education and/or Experience:

Team player with a positive can-do attitude, ability to work independently to produce high quality work products, and manage multiple projects and relationships, simultaneously with accuracy 

Experience with fundraising, donor cultivation, budget analysis, grant writing, reportingand contract administration

Experience with working with external clients/consultants preferred 

Government relations experience a plus 

5-10 years experience in nonprofit administration, or relevant field 

Bachelor’s degree in relevant field 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills and the ability to work with many different constituencies such as donors, volunteers, Board members, staff, and community members 

Belief in the mission and values of LESGC

Excellent written and oral communication skills and project management skills

Effective self-starter

Ability and desire to stay plugged into what’s happening in the news, mass media and popular culture 

Professional, well organized and strong attention to detail

Committed to excellence, and eager to constantly learn and grow
