The Chief Privacy Officer will have the firm support of our Board and the Executive Management Team, and work with our network of lawyers and privacy representatives across the various Marketplaces sites. 


Job description 


Manage and implement our global privacy strategy and privacy program 

Overall responsibility for the global coordination of privacy work within our Global Marketplaces 

Develop and implement processes to identify and address evolving privacy and data protection risks 

Lead the privacy function and liaise with and give advice to legal counsels, DPOs and management teams in our subsidiaries 

Report to the Board and Executive Management Team on the organizations compliance with privacy and data protection regulations 

Actively provide advice and support product development teams in their design, 

development and implementation of user facing products involving user data, including personalization services, user privacy management and user account functionality 

Advice and ensure coordination on privacy matters across our Marketplaces 


Required qualifications 


Higher academic degree (Master of Laws, J.D. or similar) 

Minimum 7 years of working experience with privacy-related issues across different jurisdictions, and at least 3 years working with EU data protection legislation 

A proven track record from developing and implementing a privacy program in a complex and multinational organization 

Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English 

Understanding of privacy related information security 

Strong understanding of digital consumer, market, business and technology trends, based on experience from the technology sector or experience from digital media or advertising industry
