The Multi-Domain Marketing (MDM) team is at the forefront of Cisco's vision for driving innovations and setting the agenda in the market. We build a consistent, detailed "always-on" strategy by highlighting Cisco's breadth of portfolio to ensure customers achieve their objectives on Cisco technology. As the manager of the CIO group, the individual is responsible for working cross-functionally to set the strategy, define priorities and consistently deliver value through execution. In this key role, you will ensure new levels of value are provided to our internal stakeholders as well as our external ones. You will report to the Sr. Director, Multi-Domain Solutions Marketing. Your team will be responsible for Cisco's CIO (multi-domain) solution messaging, positioning, outstanding market value proposition across all Cisco portfolios. You will work closely with Cisco's Business Units, aligning with customer requirements, articulating Cisco's value proposition for end-to-end solutions and the full lifecycle of supporting assets and integration strategy. This role requires a real passion for, content creation, messaging, marketing impact and driving change. You will work across marketing, engineering, and sales to attract new and existing CIO (C-Level) customers to prefer and purchase Cisco solutions, driving the shift and transformation to a hardware, software, and services business.
Lead and develop the CIO Multi-Domain integrated content strategy and planning tailored for Customers and Sales programs as well as broader Cisco marketing platforms (Cisco Live, etc)
Develop and maintain a deep understanding of CIO's, what they care about and how to best reach them
Create awareness and thought leadership content using multi-domain innovations especially for the CIO audience
Have a proven understanding of a broad base of technologies (software, hardware and how services fit)
Define and develop compelling CIO value propositions, use cases, and overall CIO content /assets targeting customers, decision-makers, and other audiences such as analysts, press, sellers and partners. Be the master storyteller to CIOs that catapults Cisco above the competition
Drive seller enablement, education on messaging and marketing content related to the CIO Multi-Domain messaging
Deliver the GTM messaging through direct and extended teams in the regions/geos. The global delivery will need close collaborations with the regional / geo leadership teams.
Develop positive relationships across BU marketing functions as well as Segment GTM teams, Brand, Events, Communications, and Regions

You will have the opportunity to market an award-winning, Multi-Domain portfolio messaging and work with some of the industry's best designers, engineers, and product management teams.
Who You Are
You are a highly-skilled professional with an understanding of technology (preferred), and experience on a global scale. You have led the charge in crafting a compelling, cohesive and coherent CIO story around your company's solutions that are exciting and enticing to your customers. Aside from being a master storyteller, you are passionate about marketing, and developing your team to achieve business results and business impact. You interact with all levels of the business easily and can influence across the board.
Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred but not required)
10+ years of Enterprise Solutions Marketing experience with growing responsibility
Experience as a people manager
You strive to solve complex problems through a creative yet analytical mind and previous experience.
You clearly demonstrate leadership in tackling multiple, complex issues
Excellent communication and analytical skills
You have held prior roles in a fast-paced environment leading CIO or Solutions messaging & content development
You have a strong understanding of technology but can up-level the messaging to be business benefits-focused
You are comfortable forging positive relationships/collaborations across the company.
You are positive and collaborative with outstanding communication and presentation skills, an active listener, and possess the ability to synthesize high-level information.
