Global Benefits Management - Client Relationship Manager
You are the key spokesperson for APAC C&B leaders for our bespoke accounts, together youprovide oversight and create strategic focus for the year to come.You are part of a global team managing Benefits for a selected group of accounts.
Mercer isgrowing our global business and we are expanding our team.This role includes managing a small team, so we are looking for candidates with affinity for people management.
Responsibilities include contributing to business development pursuit activities (as expert joining in a later stage), client contacton APAC Employee Benefits management and health consultingYou can be involved in the design and development of specific global or regional guidance documents for the account long-term relationship and present this to our teams in the region.Expectations include proactively assessing business and client needs to guide the practice into meeting the changing needs of the market. Also responsible for monitoring and ensuring that the services being provided to the client are in line with the centralized guidance and in conjunction with general Service Level Agreements. Assess opportunities to expand the Health and Career relationship with the client. In addition you will support the delivery and oversight of other MMB related services such as Flexible benefits.
Interface directly with senior-level client managers as the main global point of contact for client deliverables and communications required under a Global Benefits Management appointment.
Help clients monitor their employee benefit programs around the world by providing aggregated reporting with a view to ensuring a level of governance and consistency with their objectives while offering optimal cost-effective solutions.
Execute clients’ ongoing global benefit strategy, as well as execute global benefit financing strategy, through pooling, captives, global insurance programs.
Main client and internal point of contact for APAC Employee Health and Benefits management – supporting multinational clients place their health and risk policies across Asia.
·Design, development and maintain client management tools that support effective oversight of the accounts.
·Monitor and ensuring that the services being provided to the client are in line with the centralized guidance and in conjunction with general Service Level Agreements.
·Execute clients’ ongoing global benefit strategy, including global benefit financing strategies, through pooling, captives and global insurance programs.
·Interface directly with senior-level client managers as the main global point of contact for client deliverables and communications required under a Global Benefits Management appointment.
·Provide strategic & consulting advice that enables the client to make the right decisions and maintain sustainable plans. This includes close review of local renewal documents and applying analytic skills to identify key claims drivers and supporting regional consistency in design.
·Enhancing our ability to sell additional health and wellbeing projects delivered by our strongly connected consulting team (e.g. Flexible benefits, onsite clinics, wellness, retirement, communication) through understanding the health market.
·Contributing to business development pursuit activities in alignment with our sales team and onboarding process – signing of statements of work and developing rules of the road.
·Review of current team “ways of working” and providing suggestions for improvement.
Experience working in multiple countries and language skills is a plus, though not a requirement
