OAL Applications Technology group is looking for a senior leader to manage the implementation of Oracle Fusion Service Cloud and a team of technical leaders. This position requires deep technical knowledge and hands on program leadership in managing innovative development, implementation and deployment. Effective communication across various stakeholders spread across the globe is essential to be successful in this role.

Roles and Opportunities:

Responsible for day-to-day project management from kick-off through to go-live.

Manage solution build and monitor organisational readiness.

Manage and engage technical resources: security, cloud operations, cloud provisioning.

Works jointly with business units to ensure successful delivery overall.

Provides status reports / milestone tracking as defined by management

Manage risks, issues, change requests and escalations.

Manage resource requirements, hiring, and on-boarding.

Responsible for the overall project plan and maintenance.

Measures project/ programme success against original scope and business objectives.

Maintain and prioritize roadmap and enhancement requests for future consideration.

Perform the Global Solution Owner role and collaborate with Global Process Owner to ensure consistency and data quality across OAL and with our business partners.

Contribute to the Fusion Service Governance Board.

Coordinate user testing.

Provide comprehensive and current project artifacts appropriate for various audiences. 

Apply Agile method and techniques.

Key Requirements for this role:

Significant experience performing full life cycle application implementations of application solutions on a Cloud based platform: including requirements gathering and analysis, troubleshooting, solution design, task management, on-boarding, and initiative success.

A strong understanding of integration, data, customization, and other solution implementation related principles.

A Systems mind-set that drives you to see the dependencies and integrations between unrelated processes and tools with a view to improve efficiency. 

Experience management multiple implementations concurrently.

Experience developing and managing effective project risk mitigation strategies.

Experience with data migrations, REST APIs, and web services.

The ability to work in a fast-paced virtual environment that demands coordination across time zones using clear, concise, and timely information sharing.

Experience working with Senior and Executive Management as well as mentoring team member in remote locations.

Manage environment maintenance plan, coordinate systems allocations for various on-going projects, publish path to production release plan and integrations among various systems

Define and manage major incident management process for critical systems and applications

Identify risks, develop mitigation plans and creatively solve problems to deliver results

Experience with continuous Integration and continuous delivery (CICD) tools and processes

BS/MS Computer Science degree or related discipline.

8+ years of experience working in a B2C high volume customer service/help desk/service ticket management environment collaborating with various LOBs on distinct projects and initiatives in both a lead and team member role.

Highly desirable:

Jira, Agile, scrum, and/or SAFe experience.

Developer experience

CICD, DevOps and SRE

Customer support / Oracle Engagement / Oracle Apps / Oracle Fusion experience

Assists in the development of short, medium, and long term plans to achieve strategic objectives. Regularly interacts across functional areas with senior management or executives to ensure unit objectives are met. Ability to influence thinking or gain acceptance of others in sensitive situations. Successful track record as a manager. Detailed knowledge of technical and business concepts of a number of related applications areas. BA/BS degree preferred.
