Responsible for developing and implementing complex, global communication programs. The Customer & Revenue organization is the go-to-market engine at Equinix, and is comprised of global Sales, Marketing, Commercial Operations, Customer Care and Regional leadership for the company. We are seeking an experienced and driven leader to join our team as the Director of Communications for the CRO, reporting to the Chief of Staff to the Chief Customer & Revenue Officer. This role will be responsible for overseeing and executing high-impact communications programs and initiatives that engage go-to-market team employees, drive strategic alignment around priority initiatives, and enable business leaders to effectively communicate with their teams.


This is a highly visible role within the Customer & Revenue organization and requires exceptional verbal and written communication skills, a strong background in supporting a global team in a fast-paced environment, and experienced engagement with executive leaders. In partnership with the Corporate Communications team, this role would drive a roadmap for the Chief Customer and Revenue Officer’s (CCRO) executive communications.


Responsibilities


Build out a plan to drive CRO team core messaging around strategic initiatives progress for the go-to-market executive leader (CCRO) and leadership team

Design and implement programs that inspire and connect the CRO team to each other and the broader mission of being in service to our customers

Advise CRO senior leaders on communications expertise, in partnership with Corporate Communications

Drive creative, thoughtful and impactful communications initiatives for a global go-to-market team and its leaders

For the CCRO, write strategic messaging and talking points for executive engagement internally as well as on external panels, roundtables and interviews

Lead communications for CRO change initiatives, driving alignment across key stakeholder groups and communications managers at the execution level

Track and report content effectiveness metrics to internal stakeholders


Qualifications


10 years of experience preferred or 15+ years of experience in hypergrowth, B2B technology and global business

Bachelor's degree required

Master's degree preferred

Confident self-starter with demonstrated success supporting a global, go-to-market organization

Proven global and international communications experience

Excellent writing and communication skills with a roll-up your sleeves mindset

Demonstrated background creating communications that drive measurable and effective outcomes

Leadership skills that foster collaboration and partnership with other internal executive communication teams

Experience with multi-channel outreach, tools and systems to serve various needs
