Drive & own end-user product strategy for Controllers division of the firm globally
Work closely with businesses to understand existing functional gaps, use-cases and impact of each use-case, in order to effectively translate the gaps into a generic product requirement
Ability to understand different technology platforms, their features and be able to work with solution architect/engineering partners and provide business requirement to drive and manage future product roadmaps and deliverables
Launch and market products that solve customer challenges. Drive product adoption for the division globally.
Synthesize and drive product strategy from interactions with customers, business stakeholders, engineering teams and build/manage an actionable product roadmap.
Make sure that clear, simple and technically sound decisions are made.
Leverage your strong knowledge on different technology platforms and end-user facing products, vet all the design decisions, system re-usability options and able to steer a strategy for particular product.
Ability to work with multiple stakeholders/cross-functional teams to influence them for quicker decisions, manage roadblocks and able to steer out of them
Be involved in what you are monitoring to build and adopt – Running edge cases, doing proof of concepts, testing products proactively and its features to provide feedback early in the cycle, making sure that product reporting exists to track KPIs for the product and its success (data driven product management)
Generating buy-in for the product vision with leadership and partner team
Ability to drive organization’s automation strategy through clearly defined OKRs and contribute to managing OKR related to the product he/she will own.
Connect activities and deliverables to business outcomes. Should have the ability to define economic rationale for every major effort and translate into metrics.
Entrepreneurial spirit with desire to work in fast-paced environment, with the ability to consistently deliver exceptional results with demanding timelines
7-10 years of overall experience in a leadership role including meaningful experience in strategic product management
Experience defining a product roadmap, driving digital strategy, lead technology transformation projects.
Strong quantitative data analysis and critical thinking skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations and drive actions.
Strong leader who can prioritize well and communicate clearly across all levels of the organization with a proven ability to influence and engage senior executives
Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, make tradeoffs and evaluate opportunistic new idea with engineering teams
Develop business cases with policy and/or implementation recommendation to handle new areas of opportunity, including scaling with software
Proven track record of driving innovation on behalf of consumers/clients.
Proven experience delivering technology products in a high growth environment with a demonstrated ability to translate customer needs into business and product requirements
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and oral; confident in interaction with all levels of employees
Detailed-oriented, self-motivated and organized. Able to multi task varying priorities and deliverables.
Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Visio, Powerpoint and Sharepoint.
Engineering degree or Masters of Business Administration from reputed institute
Experience with driving digital strategy for an organization and driving digitization roadmap
Experience effectively managing cross functional teams and resources that do not have a direct reporting relationship
Experience in FinTech domain, and understanding of Controllers business would be an added advantage.
