Patrick Industries Corporate Office is hiring Corporate Financial Analysts to join our growing Finance Team! Working closely with Leadership, the Corporate Financial Analysts work to support Controllers by providing accurate financial data timely.

Responsibilities and Duties:


Corporate Financial Analysts, support Division and Group Controllers who are responsible for the oversight, leadership and coordination of accounting, financial reporting, financial management, and budgeting efforts as it relates to the operation of facilities growing operation. In this position, you will have exposure to Senior Leaders and have the ability to gain experience and knowledge of growing companies within our vast Organization!


Essential job functions will include:



  • Assist in month-end and quarter-end close

  • Analyze and review balance sheet account reconciliations

  • Prepare special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends

  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of a documented system of accounting policies and procedures

  • Help prepare budgets by establishing schedules; collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial data and recommending plans to Leadership

  • Assist with internal and external audits throughout the year

  • Identify and implement efficiency opportunities

  • Assist in process improvement projects

  • Drive special projects as needed within the team and with others outside of the immediate group

  • Work collaboratively with the team and across all functional areas

  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of a documented system of accounting policies and procedures


Requirements



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance

  • Those with public accounting experience are highly desired

  • Internship experience in Accounting or Finance is a plus

  • Experience to include general understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley Act is desired

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in terms of being clear, concise, and professional with the ability to work effectively with a wide array of personnel ranging from hourly employees to senior management

  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize multiple projects under tight deadlines and work independently with little to no oversight

  • Strong accountability and follow-through skills

  • Strong analytical/critical thinking
