A new role to Stitch FIx, the Creative Director, Campaigns & Activations is a key creative leader in a large and growing creative organization spanning every discipline from art directors, copywriters, designers, photographers, stylists, videographers and motion designers. This role requires a senior copywriting creative lead, but one that's equally comfortable driving how words and pictures form ideas that change perceptions and conversations about a brand. You will directly lead creative teams across all of our business lines here in the US and as we continue to expand globally. This role reports into the VP, Executive Creative Director, and is located in our San Francisco, CA headquarters.


Inspire your creative teams of art directors and copywriters to drive leading-edge, impactful and valuable ideas across our campaigns for our Womens, Mens and Kids businesses that deliver results across brand or performance metrics depending on channel.

Contribute to the next generation of advertising across fashion & personal style, connecting trends with client insights to bring our brand meaningfully into the lives of the people we reach.

Lead creative execution to a high standard while navigating the tradeoffs of a high growth company.

Direct full-scale, integrated marketing campaigns from concept to completion, developing the best possible experiences in advertising, social, content, OOH, events & live channel activations, in-app and on-web programming and more.

Partner closely with media partners and third-parties to constantly innovate ways to deliver value for our clients and prospective clients through marketing channels.

Provide inspirational creative leadership to our partners across Consumer Marketing, Customer Relationship Marketing and Social Activation to connect insights and ideas and influence exceptional programs.

Constantly strive for excellence, to inspire and be inspired by teams across Creative, the rest of our Marketing organization and executives across the organization.


You bring a rich background of creative leadership and a book of industry-shaping work across direct-to-consumer, retail or fashion spaces. We have a strong preference for creative leads that have spent time in their careers in digital-centric/mobile-first businesses, but this is not a predicate for success. What we hope to see from you:

15+ years of experience at an advertising or digital agency or in-house equivalent, at least 7 of which has been at a leadership level, and an extensive copywriting background with lifestyle and consumer brands.

You have exceptional communication, presentation and interpersonal skills and know how to effectively express your ideas and your work at all levels of the organization.

You are strategic, with a deep understanding of the implications of great creative & storytelling on the overall success of a brand.
