As a Vice President of Credit Risk in support of the Card Acquisition Risk group, you will own the release management lifecycle. The Release Manager will be responsible for developing the release management process in partnership with Acquisition strategy owners and Risk Execution. The objective is to deliver high quality business requirements and deliver on the business solutions. The scope includes initiating and managing implementation releases through development, test, and production environments. The Release Manager will work collaboratively with different stakeholders and is responsible for ensuring all control points of the release management lifecycle are satisfied.This role will be responsible for providing ongoing tracking and status updates to senior management. The role requires hands-on experience with SAS/SQL to perform data checks and write queries to validate strategy changes. ACAPS, STRATA or similar application experience is desirable.

In addition, the Release Manager will be responsible for prioritizing the IT Release Calendar for Risk Acquisition. The Release Manager will assist in managing projects and interdependencies to ensure milestone adherence to ensure the integrity of the release can be measured. This includes request submission, prioritization, controls and the management of releases across the Card Acquisition Risk group. The releases can be inclusive of strategy updates, operating system fixes, and security and control improvements.

Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline (Math, Finance, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, IT or Operations Research) is required; advanced degree is preferred

5+ years of relevant experience required

Prior Release management experience

Knowledge of ACAPS and STRATA or similar applications

Ability to coach and develop peers to deliver results

Proven ability to influence and drive results thorough effective thought leadership and teamwork

Strong analytical, interpretive and problem solving skills

Excellent strategic thinking and have the ability to structure problem and develop sophisticated and common-sense solutions to complex business challenges

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work across functions and influence stakeholders

Proficiency in: SAS, SQL, Excel (e.g. pivots) and Microsoft Power Point, and knowledge of Unix environments
