As the Account Director, you’ll be joining the Global Platform Digital Strategy Cross-Functional Team to help lead the world’s top marketers at one of the largest advertising agencies in the world. This position will challenge your ability to think analytically, manage complexity, and apply your ability to translate business strategy into strong digital plans and experiences – establishing channel strategy and journeys, designing effective creative content and improving the quality and performance our consumers’ digital experiences.


Description:


The role of the Digital Account Director is to serve as the team lead client partner supporting the needs of a cross functional team of analysts, program managers, designers, and front-end developers. The Account Director will be responsible for delivering forward-thinking strategies to help build upon the fastest growing DTC business on our CPG business. The role will entail coaching of junior Account team members to deliver eCRM/Site creative for both promotional creative as well as 1:1 personalized journeys. That said, to enable speed and agility, the Account Director can work hands-on in the platforms and is capable of understanding advertising performance data, project planning, brief writing, and presenting great digital creative.


The right candidate must have a working knowledge of foundational digital ecosystem platforms including search, site, app, ecommerce, eCRM, and consumer data strategy and digital advertising channels (e.g. OLV, display, social, paid search, digital radio, etc.).


In this role, you will be responsible for leading the digital strategic planning and tactical implementation oversight working alongside our always-on digital team as well as various advertising initiative teams. You will also help continue to craft and hone digital product experiences whether that’s data capture or accelerating DTC conversion.


Responsibilities:



  • Lead the day-to-day operations of Oral Care digital platform projects; working with clients to clearly identify business objectives, target, testing priorities, and helping to craft briefs

  • Oversee the continued development and optimization of our eCRM programs and DTC operations fueled by the acquisition, enrichment and activation of our consumer data strategy

  • Lead a multidisciplinary (Analytics, SEO, Creative, Program Management) team to achieve client business objectives and deliver upon project briefs

  • Own the digital creative briefing process including leading inspiration workshops and creative check-ins

  • Drive performance of digital creative through ongoing optimization of strategic approaches and creative executions 

  • Offer insights based on marketing and industry expertise while learning the client’s organization and decision-making process.

  • Represents the client internally, partnering with Program Management to ensure successful execution while delivering results that meet or exceed objectives.

  • Seeks new business opportunities and finds opportunities for innovation on current accounts


Qualifications



  • 6+ years of directly related experience within an interactive/digital agency

  • Finds satisfaction in problem solving and meeting commitments with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong client relationship building skills

  • Exhibits strong written and oral communication skills

  • Experience with the following platforms:

  • Analytics: Google Analytics

  • Ad Managers: Google, Facebook, Snapchat, Amazon

  • Search: Google Keyword Planner, MOZ, SEM Rush

  • Social Listening: Sprinklr, Netbase

  • Planning: ComScore, MRI, PointLogic

  • Quantitative and qualitative thinker with experience in developing holistic consumer journeys, channel planning, and creative briefs

  • Coaches junior Account teams to help grow their skillset

  • Enjoys marketing and digital marketing theories and principles and wants to share best practices broadly amongst the team

  • Served as lead of cross functional team interaction within digital marketing capabilities: ranging from creatives, user experience designers, analytics, web developers and project managers.

  • Worked in an environment where teams leveraged stand-up or agile-like project management.

  • Excellent organizational skills; can help draft clear project plans and can multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
