Bell is seeking an experienced Digital Enterprise Technical Product Manager who is an effective technology leader familiar with digital transformation who translates customer requirements into product direction. You should enjoy solving problems, be an effective communicator, and have a strong understanding in product development methodologies, software technology, and data management principles.


The Digital Enterprise Technical Product Manager works in Bell’s Advanced Vertical Lift Systems organizations supporting the Future Long Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) development program and is responsible for defining requirements through customer engagements, documenting the capability roadmap, and managing definition and implementation of software solutions while managing schedule, risk, and budget. Your target product is a data-rich Digital Enterprise to improve collaboration between US Government and contractors and support data-driven activities across all phases of the aircraft lifecycle to optimize readiness, performance, and cost.


This role is well suited for a candidate who likes building new software products, data and analytics focused activities, and supporting development of the next generation of military vertical lift aircraft.  


Bell's Future Long Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) is the world’s most advanced tiltrotor air vehicle.The FLRAA builds on the generational successes of past Bell experimental and production tiltrotors to enable the war fighter and save lives. 


Responsibilities Include: 



  • Manage the product vision and maintain alignment between customer, program, and development teams.

  • Create the product roadmap laying out capabilities and features linked to program milestones.

  • Manage solution architecture definition with the development team.

  • Maintain product definition using a Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) representation.

  • Manage development, test, operation, and sustainment of the product.

  • Assess risks, issues, and opportunities to support strategy steering.

  • Research, evaluate and recommend technologies, tools, and best practices.

  • Track and capture design decision notices, impacts and design changes as they occur throughout the program.


Education Requirements:



  • Bachelor's Degree. Computer Science, Engineering, or technical field preferred.


Position Requirements:



  • At least 8 Years Product Management experience required. (Azure Cloud/SaaS Products experience preferred).

  • Demonstrated success in defining and launching data-rich enterprise cloud products that meet and exceed business objectives.

  • Experience in a regulated environment (e.g. ITAR, EAR, Cyber, HIPAA, FEDRAMP).

  • Works well navigating ambiguity and vague customer specifications.

  • Communicates efficiently and effectively between leadership, customers, and development teams.

  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.

  • Builds and maintains effective relationships with customers, internal and external suppliers, as well as horizontal integrations across the other teams.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

  • Good interpersonal and organizational skills.

  • Candidates must be eligible to obtain Secret Security Clearance


Preferred Skills and Experience:



  • 5 Years Solution Architecture experience

  • Experience in modeling:SysML, MBSE or and DoDAF modeling

  • Familiarity with military aerospace lifecycle
