The Sanmina Fremont facility is a full-service enclosure systems solution manufacturing plant.Located in California’s Silicon Valley, this facility produces low-to-mid volume New Product Introduction (NPI) runs to full-scale volume.The Fremont facility offers everything from small piece parts to fully integrated and tested systems.In addition, this location offers in-house painting capabilities and flexible logistics solutions in distribution, inventory management and hubbing, as well as repair services.

Responsibilities:       



  • Create and execute a detailed roadmap to drive extraordinary growth in profitable fabrication business with Sanmina’s existing customers and a limited and selected list of target new customers.

  • Oversee all aspects of Business operations (commercial, operational and relationship matters) with customers including directly managing all program management personnel.


Specific responsibilities will include:



  • Creating, maintaining and executing detailed customer specific plans to drive extraordinary growth; establishing and managing a high-performance program and account management organization; and assisting in “closing the deal” when required.

  • Work with Plant leadership in a matrix-management environment to ensure operational excellence across all aspects of our business with customers.

  • Ensuring that each account is meeting objectives for growth, profitability, customer satisfaction and relationship quality.

  • Provide strong day-to-day leadership and management of all Program/Account Management resources to ensure that the team is effective in taking good care of existing business and is executing all steps required to grow profitable new business.

  • Provide the organization with strong market feedback on technology, pricing and performance levels. Help to shape competitive strategy.


Professional Experience And Qualities:                

The successful candidate will possess the following characteristics:



  • A 10+ year track record of success in commercial, program management or engineering roles for companies with best-in-class machining and engineering operations; preferably with key customer relationships in semi-conductor capital equipment.

  • A track record of growth that is indicative of strong financial, commercial skills as well as strong customer presence.

  • Ability to push, engage, motivate, and lead others

  • A visionary and passionate leader who can inspire, communicate and influence in a professional yet “down-to-earth” manner to effectively gain trust and support across the company and customers

  • Track record of forging strong customer relationships with large ‘blue chip’ multinational corporations.

  • Comfortable in C-suite conversations with Customers, ability to communicate effectively in verbal, written and presentations modes.

  • Strong presence and charisma.

  • Ability to balance short-term and long-term objectives

  • Highly entrepreneurial executive with a track record of results and integrity who thrives in a fast-paced, hard-working culture

  • A flexible work style that can move fluidly from “the big picture” to the details with the natural predisposition to “roll-up his/her sleeves”

Educational And Industry Background:             



  • While a degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar technical degree is a plus, a very good knowledge of the fabrication & engineering process is more important. Customer experience is essential.
