Description


As a Director in our Client Delivery team, you will be responsible for leading the implementation of Elsy/VideoAmp's platform for our advertiser and agency clients. You will oversee each key implementation phase, including design, onboarding, optimization, and deployment to ensure client success. Once an implementation is deployed, you will lead maintenance services and provide customer training and support.


You’ll deploy Elsy/VideoAmp's platform instances to Elsy/VideoAmp's diverse customer base: both agencies and in-house advertisers, with self-service and managed service contracts. In this position, you will serve as the lead point of contact for your instances, developing and strengthening relationships with customers.


Your role is a leadership position within the Elsy/VideoAmp Delivery team and reports into the VP, Delivery. You will work closely with Client Delivery Managers, Analysts, and Data Engineers in this function. Alongside Elsy/VideoAmp's Management, you will contribute to People management processes for your team.


Responsibilities:



  • Design client implementations of the Elsy/VideoAmp platform

  • Define and document platform implementation design to meet client objectives

  • Manage onboarding, deployment, and maintenance of client implementations

  • With VP, Delivery support:

  • Develop instance implementation plans and customer success playbook

  • Run weekly Delivery Team project planning sessions to identify and prioritize short-term objectives

  • With Manager/Analyst support (team size varies with scope of implementation):

  • Onboard client data into Elsy/VideoAmp Datamart

  • Define key brand characteristics in standardized templates

  • Analyze client attribution outputs (such as MMM, MTA attribution, brand-lift studies, mobile and panel-based measurements etc.) to calibrate Elsy/VideoAmp planning algorithms

  • Configure Elsy/VideoAmp platform to meet specific client implementation design

  • Oversee successful maintenance of data, media plans, tactics, and optimization scenarios within client instances

  • Manage ongoing Campaign performance reporting and ad hoc analytics for managed services customers

  • Lead client workshops and communications

  • Conduct Discovery Workshops with clients to collect data and insights regarding their media strategy, audience architecture, measurement plan and content strategy

  • With Manager support, run weekly project management status calls

  • Develop optimized Media Plans

  • Configure media briefs within platform

  • Produce data-driven media investment recommendations using Elsy/VideoAmp

  • Analyze media plans and alternative scenarios for alignment with overall media strategy

  • QA media plans for data accuracy and business sense

  • Summarize key plan recommendations in clear and insightful client presentations

  • Support recommendations with data and analytics

  • Document key learnings from client engagements

  • Provide User Support

  • Assist in training and support of platform users including client analytics and planning teams

  • Assist in Product Development

  • Contribute to product development by compiling user feedback and testing new planning algorithms / features

  • Contribute to New Business Development

  • Support New Business efforts when requested by summarizing key learnings from your customer instances in case studies

  • Help recruit, train and mentor a best-in-class team of Delivery Managers, Senior Analysts, and Analysts


Qualifications



  • 10-15 years of experience in a quantitative data-driven field, preferably in the media industry

  • Experience in marketing analytics such as multi-touch attribution, marketing-mix modeling/econometrics, test vs. control analytics, or other types of measurement techniques

  • Fluency in the following tools:

  • Microsoft Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, macros), PowerPoint and Word

  • Tableau or similar data visualization tools

  • Strong written and oral communications skills

  • Detail-oriented and QA-focused with an interest in repeatable processes and automation

  • Strong desire to develop new skills, and build scalable tools and processes

  • Strong aspiration for growth and preference to operate in a fast-paced environment

  • Project management skills: demonstrated track record of managing multiple projects on deadline

  • Interest in media and advertising and leveraging automation and technology to produce media plans and optimizations


Desired Skills



  • Media planning and / or buying experience (with a focus on digital / programmatic media)

  • Familiarity with the following tools

  • SQL Server or similar SQL-based database

  • Python or similar scripting language

  • Experience working with global teams in different time zones
