You will have the chance to lead the processes responsible for accurate data collection mining, analysis, and reporting. You will partner with other team members to lead alldata analytics and reporting, including designing and maintaining internal, client and partner reports and dashboards. You will ensure data accuracy and consistent reporting by designing and creating efficient processes and procedures for you and the analytics team to follow. You will also oversee the data/report request process, tracking requests submitted, and prioritization.
As a Director, Data Analysis, you can look forward to:
Building, developing, and maintaining reporting systems, data automation systems, dashboards and performance metrics that support reporting for clients and internal and external partners.
Being responsible for the design and delivery of reports and insights that analyze business functions and key operations and performance metrics. Facilitate input from key internal and external stakeholders to ensure reporting meets client needs.
Ensuring accuracy of data and deliverables with comprehensive policies and processes.
Managing and optimizing processes for data intake, validation, mining, and engineering as well as modeling, visualization, and communication.
Examining, interpreting, reporting and communicating results of analytical initiatives to stakeholders in leadership, technology, sales, marketing, and product teams.
Leading the data/report requests process: tracking requests submitted, prioritization, and approval.
Developing and implementing quality controls and departmental standards to ensure quality standards, organizational expectations, and contractual requirements.
Leading cross-functional projects using advanced data modeling and analysis techniques to discover insights that will guide strategic decisions and uncover optimization opportunities.
Organizing and driving successful completion of data insight initiatives through effective management of analyst and data employees and effective collaboration with stakeholders.
Communicating results and business impacts of insight initiatives to stakeholders within and outside of the company.
Proactively seeking opportunities to automate and improve processes.

Basic qualifications for consideration:
Minimum 7 years of data analytics / data science experience
Proficient coding skills for analytics and data extraction (SQL, R, Python, Advanced Excel and ETL). Ability to perform advanced querying involving multiple tables and subqueries.
Experience working with and creating databases and dashboards to support reporting.
Preferred qualifications for consideration:
Payments industry experience.
Debit card services experience a plus.
Experience in data visualization (Tableau, Power BI).
Experience using analytical concepts and statistical techniques: hypothesis development, designing tests/experiments, analyzing data, drawing conclusions, and developing actionable recommendations for business units.
Experience and knowledge of statistical modeling techniques: GLM multiple regression, logistic regression, log-linear regression, variable selection, etc.
