As part of Cerner’s Corporate Marketing team, the Director, Digital Marketing will serve as a leader in advancing and transforming the digital capabilities and approach to digital for the Enterprise and focusing on specific businesses.
As the leader of the digital team your primary responsibilities include establishing the digital channel strategy while leading a team of 6 channel experts.Through your strong communication skills, you will collaborate with key stakeholders to develop digital strategies and partner with the marketing, communications, digital, creative and brand teams to execute campaigns across web, SEO/SEM, email, social media, and digital display advertising. You and your team will identify trends and insights and optimize spend and performance based on the insights.In addition, you will leverage enterprise campaign tools and capabilities at scale in planning and execution of media plans and digital campaigns.You will also partner with sales leadership and marketing operations to develop a lead routing strategy and measurement criteria to ensure alignment between marketing and sales.
As a manager of people, you will seek to understand disagreements, ensure all perspectives are heard and facilitate a plan for resolution. You will delegate the work appropriately, provide clear expectations and follow up to ensure progress and overcome roadblocks.Furthermore, you will identify associates and team priorities based on business direction and adjust when needed.As a leader, you will lead by example and share knowledge and experiences with associates and team; create a respectful work environment where you advocate for your team, create accountability and recognize their accomplishments.Additionally, you will provide timely feedback to encourage success, ensure accountability, and connect opportunities for your associates’ development; and identify the right talent to achieve the desired results. Promote and build a diverse cohesive team to accomplish objectives and align associates' skills to fill gaps.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Information Technology, or Communications
At least 7 years’ experience in Digital Marketing
At least 2 years’ experience in B2B Digital Marketing
At least 2 years’ experience working in an agency environment
Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Pardot and Salesforce Sales Cloud with a broad knowledge of email marketing technology and tools.
In-depth experience across multiple digital touchpoints with a track-record of financial business performance
Demonstrated organizational intelligence in identifying decision makers/influencers; builds strong relationships with leadership across organizational and geographical boundaries
Strong negotiation skills needed internally with marketers, business leaders and externally with our agency partners to achieve alignment to global best practice and strategic priorities
Reside in or be willing to relocate to the greater Kansas City area
