We are looking for a Technology Leader responsible for developing digital strategy, offers, and experiences to drive the growth and loyalty of existing and prospective clients and accelerate Schwab’s digital transformation. You will be part of the Digital Technology team at Schwab, focused on improving the customer journey for our clients. The journey model is insights-driven and focuses on rapid iterations to drive innovation and transformation. This is a unique opportunity to grow and transform our business through driving significant step-change in our time to market, building more coordinated client-centric experiences, and enabling project success via multi-functional coordination and ownership. You will be responsible for overall technical delivery for a defined customer journey and transform the way we work. You'll work closely with technologists to define the digital strategy for the firm. What you’re good at

Responsible for oversight and/or implementation of new and/or existing programs. May be enterprise specific or cross enterprise. Requires strong verbal and written communication skills in order to effectively communicate with and to Sr. Management. Must have demonstrated product management experience with outstanding leadership skills. Experience and working knowledge of Agile Development Practices, iterative development and methodologies in multi-functional organizations

Experience with scoping, sizing and overseeing multiple concurrent projects, assessing the appropriate level of risk, reviewing team deliverables and being the point of contact for partners

Responsible for translating the client’s business requirements into systems, applications or process designs for very large complex IT solutions and integrating architecture. Acts as an advocate for the client, as the ultimate authority on the architecture designed to address client business problems. Provides direction for design activities.

Will have responsibility towards the infrastructure and platform of the journey and across the journeys to ensure consistency with the enterprise architecture direction and the client experience technology direction.

What you have

Understanding of CI/CD practices, lean methodologies

Understanding of SDET practices

Experience with full software development process through deployment

Understanding of what it means to lead technical scrum teams in delivery high quality digital solutions with angular, .net-based or java based web applications

Understanding of what it means to facilitate the scrum practices (leading ceremonies, empowering teams, identifying mentoring opportunities

High level of computer literacy; ability to learn new tools and products quickly

Understanding and experience with broad technical skills across multiple verticals (technology, information, process, applications, etc) and platforms (mainframe, client-server, web-based, PCF, etc) and databases DB2, MongoDB

Prior Technical lead experience providing mentoring and support, etc.

Financial, Trading, brokerage services industry experience is a plus

Confirmed ability to remove blockers, assist decision-making, escalation-timing

A skilled facilitator that is creative and efficient in proposing solutions to complex, time-critical problems

Prior experience leading and mentoring teams to deliver with a consistent or growing velocity

Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Strong verbal, written and presentation communication skills

Demonstrated ability to influence multiple levels in the organization

Demonstrated ability to work in ambiguous situations

Demonstrated ability to form positive partnerships with the business, PO's, architects, management and scrum team members

Self-motivated as well as creative and efficient in proposing solutions to complex, time-critical problems
