Burbank Television Enterprises LLC seeks a Director, Distribution Marketing for the WWTVM WW Comm. & Social Media department. The Distribution Marketing Director, based in Manhattan is the primary liaison between Marketing, Creative, Production, Sales and domestic clients with a strong focus/expertise in Cable and Streaming. The Director’s primary responsibility is to strategize and execute marketing efforts to achieve increased ratings, client satisfaction and revenue for Warner Bros. distributed content. This role will help the New York office in Pre and Post Sales efforts and work as the shield of Warner Bros. valuable IP and brands by monitoring, auditing and approving use.

The Director provides client and sales servicing on multiple shows/films across numerous clients. Big picture strategy and guidance is provided by the SVP of Worldwide Communication & Domestic Marketing and the VP of Domestic Distribution Marketing. This is a highly visible role, with deep relationship management and excellent presentation skills required. Attention to detail and superior project management is critical. A positive can-do attitude towards internal & external clients and a healthy respect for the Warner Bros. culture is a must.

The Daily

Responsible for all communication regarding marketing and promotion with clients

Develop and implement initiatives, promotional activities and support to enhance the performance for licensed series and films.

Ensure effective and brand consistent on-air, off-air and digital promotion.

Create customized action plans/strategy for program launches and content performance optimization.

Develop effective promotional strategies including sweepstakes, exclusive content for on-air, digital and social platforms.

Travel with talent as needed for promotional tours, sales events, publicity.

Work closely with research team to identify opportunities and analyze underperforming content.

Maintain a frequent dialogue and develop personal relationships with clients. Be pro-active, respond to questions and resolve any problems or discrepancies.

Work closely with all Warner Bros. and WarnerMedia divisions to entrepreneur brand and content success.

Work with publicity in organizing and coordinating special events.

Work with Social Media teams to exploit all owned media opportunities, generate buzz and engagement for WB content.

The Essentials

BA/BS in related field preferred

6 - 8+ years experience in marketing, publicity or promotion at an Agency or Network. Strong background in Cable & Streaming preferred.

Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

Superior organizational skills with ability to both multi-task and follow-through on long-term projects.

Detail-Oriented, Reliable & Trustworthy, Positive/can-do attitude.

Maintains High ethical standards

Ability to collaborate and thrive in a large team environment

Software Musts: Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams.

Additional Software Used: (training offered) Keynote, SalesForce, Box, Domo– Big Data Visualization.
