This opportunity is on the PayPal’s Financial Planning and Analysis team, which focuses on driving PayPal’s success by providing strategic business & pipeline planning, quantitative insights and serving as trusted business advisors to the commercial organization. The Director Finance, Global Accounts & Partnerships will play a critical role in nurturing & expanding PayPal relationships with its top merchants (aka Global Accounts) as well as Channel Partners & Marketplaces and doing so by shaping deals’ structure, understanding key drivers of business performance and in suggesting proactive actions to capitalize on the opportunity. A typical day for the Director, Global Accounts & Partnerships will include • Leading the planning and forecasting for PayPal Global Accounts, Channel Partner and Marketplaces and work with the BU leadership to produce weekly, monthly and quarterly reports, review monthly forecasts, quarterly targets and annual budgets for the region. • Driving optimal decision making through extensive financial and quantitative analysis, including P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow and Net Present Value Organizationelling. • Surfacing insights and providing P&L & planning support as we grow the business while aiming at doing so in a scalable and efficient way. • Identify key business levers, establish cause & effect, perform analyses and communicate key findings to various stakeholders to facilitate data-driven decision-making • Provide financial insights and support for pricing approvals, revenue analysis, and business development initiatives • Support the development of strategic plans, annual financial budgets, and monthly forecasts with data driven insights • Discover new opportunities to grow and optimize the business through analytics, financial Organizationeling, and business case development • Partnering with the Sales Comp and Sales Op to set quarterly/yearly sales targets and to report sales performance on a monthly basis to Senior Leadership

Primarily Job Responsibilities

•Support global stakeholder departments, work across complex data sets across different geographies include, NA, Europe and International.

•Support business case Organizationeling and deep dive analysis on strategic initiatives

•Ability to partner cross-functionally within finance, analytics, product, sales and marketing including ROI analysis, understanding financial goals, product roadmaps and sales pipeline.

•Ability to identify key business levers, establish cause & effect, perform analyses, and communicate key findings to various stakeholders to facilitate data driven decision-making

•Discover new opportunities to grow and optimize the business through analytics, financial Organizationeling, and business case development

•Work independently in a cross functional matrix with teams like finance, marketing, product, and senior executives to review and recommend process improvements in support of PayPal’s Sales Transformation initiatives

•Successfully manage, coach and develop FP&A teams supporting the GA & Partnerships segments

Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Finance, Statistics, Economic or related fields (MBA, CFA, CPA are a plus)

•You have experience gained as Director Finance/FP&A ideally in a fast growing, medium/large company environment within the eCommerce or financial services sectors.

•You can demonstrate experience in driving forecast and budget processes in highly matrixed environment.

•You can demonstrate experience in building and challenging financial Organizationels.

•You have experience guiding decisions through a highly matrix environment.

•You have strong communication skills and experience distilling and presenting complex financial analyses into action-oriented recommendations.

•You are detail-oriented, highly analytical individual who strives for excellence and that wants to be part of a great team.

•You have high energy and a true desire to understand the drivers of the business.

•You have experience using analytics techniques to contribute to company growth efforts, increasing revenue and other key business oCompanyomes.
