As the Associate Director/Director Immunology Translational Research, you will lead preclinical initiatives for the T-cell platform. This role will champion enhanced scientific rigor of our near to market program, RETHYMIC in pediatric congenital athymia and the long-term success of the program by driving the scientific insights needed to enable new applications for our T-cell regenerative medicine technology. This role will work closely with Clinical Development, Medical Affairs and the CMC teams and will be a core member of the T-cell platform strategic team.
Design and implement a preclinical strategy across potential broad immunologic indications
Manage projects with vendors and CROs
Inform the biomarker and immune monitoring design of upcoming clinical studies.
Partner with the CMC team to further assay development and process improvements with the goal of developing a next generation product
Provide product support for RETHYMIC, currently under BLA review.
Participate in business development and due diligence activities in support of in-licensing.
As a member of the T-cell platform core team, shape the future of the platform via fully harmonized and integrated development strategies
Analyze and present results to scientific groups.
Ensure accuracy and quality of scientific content in externally facing materials for the T-cell platform
Collaborate with external stakeholders and clinicians who are experts in our disease areas of interest
Present study updates to senior management or external stakeholders, as required.
Support preparation of official and regulatory documents such as INDs and sBLAs.
Develop SOPS and maintain a high standard of experimentation and record keeping
PhD in Immunology, Cell Biology or related field.
Must have 8+ years of related experience in an industry setting (may include post-doctoral experience).
In-depth knowledge of immunology, T-cell biology, and immune tolerance
Track record of advancing candidates through IND-enabling studies and into clinical development.
