KPMG is currently seeking a Director, Knowledge Library Content Leadto join our Global Audit Methodology organization.


Responsibilities:



  • Contributing to the overall strategy and annual plan for continuing enhancement of our Knowledge Library

  • Providing robust and commercially sound input and recommendations to the Knowledge Library Lead and Global Audit Methodology Group (GAMG) Leadership on embedding the knowledge library and standardization within the strategy and plan for GAMG and the KPMG Clara project as a whole

  • Directing the development and review process for Learning content, including determining when, where and how audit, assurance, accounting and industry knowledge should be sourced, from SMEs or internally generated by GAMG

  • Acting as primary liaison with GAMG Methodology to influence, understand and interpret our revised audit methodology, to enable development of high quality, methodology compliant knowledge content that is practical to use

  • Work alongside the Content Lead – Risk Assessment to lead resource allocation, planning, coaching and development for the GAMG KL team, which is comprised mainly of senior managers

  • Facilitate GLD training module reviews by relevant GAMG KL team members. GAMG reviewer role (acting as SME) for relevant global audit guidance and training materials produced by other global groups


Qualifications:



  • Minimum ten years of Audit experience in a Global Accounting Firm with field experience and/or DPP or other audit quality role

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related discipline; advanced degree a strong plus; Chartered Accountancy qualification or equivalent

  • In-depth experience working with International Auditing Standards and methodology-related developments and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)

  • Understanding of and experience with completing deliverables within the framework of an internal system of quality control in accordance with ISQM1

  • Strong communication, leadership, time management and relationship-building skills; flexible and adaptable team player; resourceful in delivering high quality work

  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
