Position Summary


The Director, Marketing Operations and Technology role is responsible for operational efficiency of the marketing team, is an advocate for marketing across cross functional operations teams, drives innovation and technical implementation of the martech stack. This role is responsible for how effectively technology, people and process deliver a data driven marketing organization. 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities



  • Manage and optimize B2B Martech stack including selection, integrations, vendor management, team training, platform education, analytics capabilities, cross-functional alignment

  • Continuous monitoring, assessment, and recommendations for leading-edge technologies available in the market to enable our team to report and deliver against objectives

  • Deliver best-in-class execution and data attribution requirements that maximize the ability to track marketing performance, deliver business insights and report on ROI

  • Advocate for B2B data governance and QA; work cross functionally with IT, Sales Ops, Global Ops, Demand Generation, Sales

  • Partner with Sales Ops to align goals and optimize marketing to sales handoff, including lead scoring, lead data ingestion, lead routing, demand generation reporting and CRM data health

  • Partner across Operations teams to develop process guidelines, data flows, data requirements and platform integration requirements

  • Responsible for critical data integrations, reporting data infrastructure, and identifying system optimization opportunities

  • Aggregate and synthesize global marketing reporting requirements, assess capability to meet data needs, and close gaps to deliver comprehensive analytics

  • Leverage work management tools to support team productivity


Qualifications/Skills/Experience


Education



  • BA or BS or equivalent, preferably in computer science or information technology


Location

Experience



  • 5-7 years of marketing technology experience Implementing and managing marketing systems


Skills



  • Collaborative, process-driven, detail-oriented, and has demonstrated experience building operational processes from the ground up.

  • Expert in Martech implementation and integrations

  • Proven success in navigating architecturally complex environments

  • Advanced experience running agile work management and driven by OKR framework

  • Natural leader with proven ability to influence across multiple functions and teams

  • Deep understanding of marketing technology integrations and stack roadmaps

  • Advanced experience with IT project management, platform integrations and data architecture

  • Successful track record of delivering technology solutions on time, on budget and able to deliver results

  • Understanding of sales cycles and lead management process across sale and marketing in a global organization

  • Strong experience in vendor management

  • Process improvement and project management methodologies: Agile, Lean Six Sigma, Project Management Professional

  • Advanced project management tools experience: Asana, Smartsheet, Wrike, Microsoft Project
