Position Summary


Partner directly with other marketing leaders to modernize and empower the marketing organization through development of new digital marketing capabilities across owned and paid direct-to-consumer channels with a focus on driving acquisition, loyalty, upsell and cross-sell as well as supporting delivery of a customized guest experience at every digital touchpoint. Lead a growing team of Hawaiian Airlines employees, contractors and vendor partners to support the Marketing organization on a wide range of technology, data and process improvement efforts.


Key Responsibilities


• Senior leader. Partner directly with other marketing leaders to modernize and empower the marketing organization through development of new digital marketing capabilities across owned and paid direct-to-consumer channels with a focus on driving acquisition, loyalty, upsell and cross-sell as well as supporting delivery of a customized guest experience at every digital touchpoint


• Team lead. Lead a growing team of Hawaiian Airlines employees, contractors and vendor partners to support the Marketing organization on a wide range of technology, data and process improvement efforts


• Marketing technology and data lead. Partner with marketing management, senior leadership, and IT leadership to develop, implement and utilize marketing technology, data, and analytics platforms to enable capabilities such as marketing automation, personalization, and predictive modeling


• Strategic lead. Work with internal and external stakeholders to develop and drive strategies and methodologies with a targeted outcome of improving digital campaign and channel effectiveness, driving acquisition growth and guest engagement, and championing a structured customer-centric approach across all touchpoints along the customer journey


• Vision and planning. Provide an integrated multi-year roadmap to expand inclusion of digital touchpoints/channels, enhanced data availability, audience and segmentation refinement, testing, tracking, and reporting


• Results driven. Identify new areas to drive results through marketing automation, targeting or offer presentation


• Vendor management. Manage vendor negotiations and ongoing relationships including solutions delivery, budgeting, and issue resolution


Minimum Requirements


• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional work experience


• 6 years of professional experience; 2 years of which is managing people


• A demonstrated ability to lead a dynamic team of people and get results through others


• Experience in the enablement and utilization of a marketing technology and data infrastructure (e.g. Adobe, Salesforce, Oracle) for campaign development, testing, and business insights (collecting, analyzing, summarizing, and reporting of statistical data)


• Broad functional experience in areas of marketing such as: marketing strategy, marketing analytics (including web analytics), data analytics, market research (qualitative and quantitative), and digital test and learn


• Mastery of data modeling, including data querying, structuring, and processing


• Strong customer focus and understanding of business goals and requirements


• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including delivering engaging presentations, clear reports, and actionable insights

Preferred Qualifications


• MBA or advanced degree in a business or technology discipline


• Experience with developing and enhancing marketing technology capabilities including familiarization with MarTech and AdTech platforms, first-party and third-party data, and API tools such as SoapUI and Postman


• Experience transitioning an organization to a marketing cloud solution and customer data platform highly desirable
