The , Marketplace Education & Engagement leads the development of FCS Financial’s customer education workshops, industry education curriculum, and other young and beginning farmer educational initiatives.Provides leadership in social media outreach and marketing as well as conducting marketplace research and develops and tracks marketplace engagement metrics.
Farmer Education Development and Continued Education
Develops curriculum, content and delivery methods for employees to educate others about Farm Credit and the financial services and agricultural industries
Identifies topics and speakers for prospect and member educational programs
Organizes speakers, dates, and locations for events
Identifies learning objectives, and development of learning program concepts, proprietary content, proposals, agendas, communications and budgets.
Leverages expertise in the development, deployment and scaling of the Associations’ existing customer education events and other activities
Coordinates with lending and insurance teams to solicit ongoing feedback and identify customer development needs to develop best in class customer education content delivery
Promotes online Customer Education tools to help customers understand and articulate the financials of their business.
Industry Outreach Programs
Coordinates Young and Beginning Farmer educational and outreach efforts
Collaborates with organizations in enlisting Association participation with various marketplace events
Selects Association representation at events and provides information on speaking points to employees
Represents Association at agricultural industry events
Manage the use of text messaging for external promotions and customer communication.
Evaluate and recommend service providers, manage subscriber lists, and coordinate delivery of branded content.
Conduct user surveys to measure subscriber satisfaction.
Social Media Outreach and Media Monitoring
Creates a social media presence for the Association that supports the organization’s marketing and business plan
Establishes timelines and a calendar for social media initiatives
Monitors social media sites to maintain branding continuity, security and content management
Collaborates and receives feedback from internal resources regarding development of social media materials
Researches trends and identify opportunities to apply best practices that raise the Association’s visibility through the use of all channels of social media.
Monitor the Association’s reputation in both social medial as well as traditional news media and ag industry publications.
Provide rapid response support to counter negative mentions by researching the source of online content and helping define ways to effectively promote our positive image.
Screen reader comments and coordinate the Association’s response as needed.
Provides subject matter expertise and input into departmental priorities and long-term strategies as needed for association strategic business plan
Other duties as assigned to meet the needs of the organization.

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, agriculture, adult learning, business administration, finance or a related field

Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job
Required Knowledge and Skills
Expert skill in developing education programs for a variety of audiences
Expert group facilitation skills
Working knowledge of agricultural industry
Working knowledge of traditional and modern training methods, tools, and techniques with emphasis on adult learning methodologies.
Working knowledge of Windows environment using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet Explorer and Outlook sufficient to create, update and save a variety of documents.
Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suites software
Working knowledge of CRM
Skill to reason, judge, compare, calculate, evaluate and critique such information as written materials, numerical data, responses to customer needs and/or other work related activities
